Critic reviews

"Overall, Alexander achieves a wonderfully balanced mix of romance, adventure, and humor. She guides the reader on an unforgettable journey from Colorado to Idaho, from brokenness to healing, from ashes to beauty. Revealed is a charming, compelling story with a strong message of restoration through Christ. It will easily sweep an adult female audience off [their] feet." (ChristianBookPreviews.com)

How God worked out the forgiveness and love between the main characters

It was a sweet story and I loved the ending. I enjoyed the entire book.

Great but

The story was well written and the performance was also great. The characters and the storyline were well developed and very realistic. My one observation is that this really needed an epilogue. The end to such a great story was my only disappointment

Learning to forgive.

Many times we forget to look that everybody has a past in the future. This book was delightful and learning about other people. The characters were well written, and the book was just overall enjoyable and relaxing.

Enjoyable

I enjoy books by Tamera Alexander very much. I've read several and find them difficult to put down. This particular book was more predictable than some, but still held my attention very well. Stories of forgiveness, redemption, and love are always encouraging. I am looking forward to reading much more by this author.

Production & Editing need work

I’m enjoying this series however there needs to be at least a couple of seconds pause between changing scenes and chapters. In a couple of instances the announcement of the next chapter actually cut off the final word of the last chapter. The transitions are far too jarring. At least I didn’t hear the narrator rolling a lozenge in her mouth as much as in Book 1: Rekindled.

A beautiful story of redemption

I had a hard time reading the beginning, not because it wasn't well written (it was) but because Matthew was absolutely infuriating. I had a general guess as to where the story would go, and figured I'd be glad that I persevered. I was right on both points.
For starters, things took a turn for the better earlier than I was expecting, so that was a relief. And though one could guess the general direction of the plot, the intricacy of the way things unfolded and the way the characters grew was really beautiful. There was nothing cliche about it. This was a story of redemption in the lives of TWO people, and a very satisfying one... except for my one complaint- there should have been an epilogue.
Regarding the audiobook, the narrator was good but the editing was sloppy. It would abruptly cut ahead, sounding like something got cut out or cut short. That happened around 10 times, at least. Even so, it was still worth listening.

refreshing story

a bit predictable, but author does a fine job with keeping the story interesting. love that God is a strong thread throughout all her novels, thank you
narrator does a fine job of story telling and switching characters, there are a few glitches in her presentation but really enjoy her narration.
