I kept thinking it was going to go a certain direction, but it totally surprised me by how it ended.

Story line was great. Narrater was awesome.
Hopefully there is more to this story. Can’t wait for the next one to come out.

Great imaginative storytelling

The story line was very disjointed and hard to follow which I quit trying to do at chapter 17. The narrator was not easy to listen to either; making this book overall disappointing.

Disappointing

This book is okay; plot line is really shallow, but there is pretty good character development. There is an underlying theme of the alpha female and the males are typically seen as not up to par as their female counterparts. The book really never got off the ground, in my opinion, and just seemed drawn out. The narrator was decent, but really lacked the ability to voice female characters properly (in my opinion).

Okay story, decent character development

I was wondering where this story was going, and was happy when it finally ended. The narration was poor. The narrator had a nice voice, but he often sounded bored. His cadence often didn't match what he was reading, as if he didn't know the emotional content of the story, and therefore didn't properly convey the content through the storytelling. Definitely not going to listen to any more of this series.

narration didnt help the story

This wasn’t at all the worst archaeological thriller that I’ve read, but it was incredibly boring. Most of the narrative was focused on the government surviving an asteroid, and very little of it was on the actual archaeological elements; it feels like the author was trying to do too much.

It was lackluster

Story was interesting, but lacked credibility. The book ends with several cliffhangers, so I assume there must be at least one sequel, which I probably won't bother with .

I found the narrator's voice to be somewhat nasal and annoying. And what's with the frequent reference to "disorientated"? That's not even a word. What's wrong with "disoriented"? In fairness to the narrator, I don't know if that's a flaw by the author and editors, or the narrator. Either way, it's annoying.

I didn't care for the narration

Loved the detail in this story and the depths Robert Storey explored to create a fast-paced, intriguing, believable tale. Narration was excellent too! Highly recommend this book.

Totally unexpected!

I found a lot in this book interesting, mostly the manipulation of the truth and secrecy. The giants are fun especially if you’re one who believes the Smithsonian covers up the existence of giants. The secrecy reminds of the subject of UAP. Something we deserve to know the truth about but is kept silent.

Timely
