Absolutely loved this audiobook. A must listen to.

Both the Janice Jarrell and the narrator did magnificent jobs. This story deals with two different m/m couples that meet each other through their jobs. One couple is in an established relationship and the other is just beginning. We will watch Josh and Colin as they develop an extremely loving and endearing relationship. This story has angst, trauma, heart ache, hope, and hot sensual love scenes. I fell in love with these characters. The author does an excellent and compelling job of character development. I'm so happy that Walker Williams narrated all of these books. The narrator immediately pulls the listener into the story. He is a fantastic storyteller and knows how to portray the emotions of the characters. He gives distinctive voices to the characters and makes this a pleasure to listen to.

The second story deals with the physical and emotional trauma that Colin and Josh experience when Colin is injured in the line of duty. One of the aspects of this story that amazed me the most was that even though Josh worried about Colin's safety he never asked him to quit. He loved Colin enough to let him to follow his occupational goals. When Colin is severely injured their two best friends, David and Nate, will be there to support and comfort Josh. These four men have an unwavering friendship and exemplify what true friendship means. The recovery will be an uphill battle but Colin has a fantastic support team. Once again the listener will feel the amazing love bond between Josh and Colin.

I have listened to many beautiful love stories and Janice Jarrell has written one of the best. To be loved so intensively by another through the good and tough times is a love everyone wishes for. The sex scenes are actually true love scenes and this makes them special as well as explosive. This story deals with the emotions associated with planning a wedding and the concerns of meeting new family members. There will also be a few bumps in the road but Josh and Colin have learned to communicate and trust each other. I thought the trip to Ireland was such a magical time. This trip made their love even stronger. The narrator definitely contributes to the love and emotions of these characters. He vocalizes the author's words and takes you on the heartwarming adventure.

I highly recommend this Audible book. It will pull at many of your emotions and make you think about societal pressures. This is truly a love story that will have you swooning. It is one of the most compassionate love stories that I have listened to and totally enjoyed. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This is a wonderful opportunity to get three heartwarming books for one credit.

Not my type of book

So the first to books were good I was a little disappointed because I wanted to here more of Nate and David. Although I did like hearing the start of Colin and Joshua’s love story still would have loved to hear more of the other too. By book two l was losing interest in Colin and Joshua but by book three it just seemed to continue the same thing from book two I just don’t think these books were from.

No Joke

This is amazing. I'm going to be honest, when I first started this I was not sure what to expect. I thought maybe the characters would be 2 dementional sealing with some non descriptive angst and the audio quality would be mediocre. I had limited expectations at best. I was so wrong, it is not even funny.

The series starts off with 1 already established couple, gently catching you up on how they got together but as if it was a friend telling you how he met his husband. Very unusual for a romance book to begin a series with an already established couple. Then they introduce a 2nd couple and we see their 1st meeting and busding romance play out. This is how I would have expected the series to begin except we are being given this couple as a contrast to couple 1 and not as a supplement. overcoming obstacles seporately and getting together is different from an established couple dealing with issues together.

The series plays out almost like that movie Valentines day where there's more than one couple that are somehow loosely all connected and are displaying decent sugges and aspects to an issue. And although this series is equally thought out, it's far from a romantic comedy. In stead, it's a serious, relatable, mature story. These couples are further divided by having different moral and political opinions based on a sensitive and complex topic of Assault on college campus and in general as well as limitations and consequences of speaking out, etc.

The story flows easily and unravels gently. As an audience member you are not overwhelmed nor bored. You want to know what happens next and the pacing is even and practical. The characters are relatable and you get to experience their internal struggles and seamlessly transition into witnessing their external words and actions.

The plot and writing completely carry this series opposed to constant sexual content but even if that content is what you're looking for, I doubt you'll mind considering how good this series is. It completely consumes your attention and I'm honestly glad all the books are in 1 place so that you can continue the series all at once.

I truly expected this narrator I'd never heard of to be mediocre with low quality production because I have experienced that. Thankfully I was wonderfully mistaken. The narration was above and beyond, completely fantastic. The audio production was great quality. Great editing, no audio issues, weird noises, repeated lines, word mistakes nor anything like that. The voice was smooth and even. The narrator was able to get the intensity and intimacy of certain scenes without screaming at the listener. The voice was almost enthralling, makes the listener want to relax and listen to what comes next.

This is a series is 5 star to me and Rivals my opinions of the Temptation series by Ella Frank in its relatability of thought and intensity of experience.

I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone into romance or good writing.

An amazing emotional and heartfelt series!❤️

Love's Magic

This is book 1 in the revolutionary hearts series and can be read as a standalone. This was a sweet romance featuring two couples, David and Nate, and Colin and Joshua. Nate is strong willed and passionate about everything he does. He was brave and courageous to stand up for himself and the people around him. I was disappointed in David at first for not supporting him and pulling away when he needed him the most. But looking at it from his perspective, I can relate to where he was coming from. I was happy that he redeemed himself in the end and helped Nate and his students. Joshua and Colin were absolutely adorable and it was nice seeing their young romance blossom. Overall this was a poignant, heartfelt and captivating romance! The characters were likeable and well fleshed out. The plot was compelling and kept me engaged. Walker Williams's narration was smooth, seamless and highly entertaining. I definitely recommend this if you like a sweet, opposites attract romance paired with medium angst and all the feels.

Love's Trials
This is book 2 in the revolutionary hearts series and can be read as a standalone. But I recommend reading book 1 first as the characters are primarily introduced there. This picks up where book 1 left off. Joshua and Collin haven't had it easy in their love life, but soon their love will be put through the wringer when Colin gets shot by a drug lord no less while protecting a student. Collin is extremely headstrong, and seeing him so vulnerable here makes my heart ache for him. But Joshua was there by his side constantly supporting him and helping him pick up the pieces. We do get to see more of Nate abd David, but the focus lies on Collin and Joshua. The emotions I felt while reading this book was raw and it was a challenging listen but absolutely captivating that I couldn't put it down either. This book took me through a roller-coaster of emotions! I absolutely recommend you listen to this especially if you liked book 1 and want to continue reading about Johua and Collin. The author has done a phenomenal job on this one. This is a very realistic love story between two men. Walker Williams as usual has done a commendable audio delivery.

Love's Glory

This is book 3 in the Revolutionary hearts series and is best read in the series order. After Collin gets shot in book 2 he withdraws from life and his partner, Joshua. He still suffers the physical effects of his injury but is doing much better now, especially with Johua by his side, every step of the way. Collin and Joshua have evolved as a couple and now marriage is in the cards. This was delightfully fun to read. Much lighter than the previous book for sure. This book is about healing, trusting and moving forward after the aftermath. I absolutely enjoyed this one. Walker Williams did a phenomenal narration as always.

The value of Love

When I first read the blurb for book one, I wanted to know about the characters, then i got it...and boy oh boy...as expected i loved them.
I received the audio bundle set and I was blowned away.
Nate and David, Colin and Josh, even the secondary characters was invigorating, heartfelt, tear jerkers. I think I cried a time or two it three. These books are full with so much emotions and give an insight of some of the emotional and societal pressures we all go through. At times I wanted to take the character's head and knock them together, they can be so frustrating.. yes everyday emotions.

Thank you Janice Jarrell for giving us an insight of your boys, their lives, their love. Walker Williams did an excellent job bringing them to life, putting their voices in my ears.

I will be re-listening to this set again...

Will Jeff and Trent get their story as well?

So Good

I really like these books. Not only do the characters feel like people I might actually know in real life so do the side characters. I really liked that no one felt like a stereotype put on paper. Each book kept me engaged and wanting to know what was going to happen next. The narrator did an amazing job bringing these characters to life in his performance. Amazing books you won’t regret getting!

Better than the blurb

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this three book set. I had originally hesitated in digging into this series (as ebook) because of two plot points in the blurb for Love's Magic: an established couple as the MCs, and a heavy political subject matter [by mention of the keywords: "movement" and "militant"]. Normally I hate drama, since I always get annoyed with the person/people who cause the drama, but, THANKFULLY, this reads more like a slice-of-life story instead of a melodrama. I don't know how else to describe Janice Jarrell's writing style but as a 'soft narrative' with a smooth and easy flow. Yes, there are many heavy subjects covered throughout the three books, but she doesn't let it bog down the development of the relationships.

Love's Magic: 3.5 stars. It took until about chapter four before I really got into the story, but even then I had a hard time connecting with David and Nate. For me, Joshua and Colin's budding romance stole the show. I enjoyed the multiple POVs and the HEAs for both couples, David and Nate, and Joshua and Colin.

Love's Trials: 4.5 stars. The focus is now on Joshua and Colin's relationship after their HEA. (I don't really consider the end of Love's Magic as an HFN for these two, because I was satisfied with how they got together in the end, and would have been fine if there wasn't a sequel.) For any NCIS fans out there, both Joshua and Colin needed a Gibbs smack lol. Oh man that scene in the living room broke my heart! I soooo felt for Joshua! I also loved David and Nate as supporting characters here. This ends more as an HFN.

Love's Glory: 5 stars. The story continues the development of Joshua and Colin's relationship throughout Colin's rehabilitation and consideration of the future. I appreciated how Joshua finds his strength in supporting Colin and FINALLY doles out some advice that helps to close a chapter of Colin's past. HEA.

Narration: 4.5 stars. Walker Williams' soothing narration was a great match to the soft narrative. There were some lines of dialogue here and there that he gave a somewhat feminine lilt to that I didn't think was necessary. Overall, his was a crisp narration with good enunciation and can be clearly understood even at 2.5x speed.

I'm looking forward to the second series.
