The King has fallen!

While Stavros moves to take over Lars’s throne, the war for the entire kingdom begins. However, this is no ordinary war against Seelie or Unseelie. The real enemy is the most powerful object in the world: The Stone of Fail.

Lars isn’t the only one the stone wants. Zoey Daniels is next on its list. And the stone will do whatever it takes to finally get the girl.

With a battle on all sides and lives of those they love threatened, fae, humans, Druids, pixies, and a certain sprite-monkey will have to come together to save the true King, along with the world, from destruction.

Out of ashes, true heroes Rise from the Embers.

Don’t miss the final installment of the Dark/Light/Collector series, where your favorite characters unite to try and protect those they love, and the earth, from the ultimate opponent.

Ember, Zoey, Kennedy, and Fionna lead the fight, but be prepared...not everyone will make it out alive.

What An Amazing Story!!! I hate that it is over 😭

This was the best ending!!! I cried, laughed and it made me feel hopeful.

This is definitely a series you want to start from the beginning. The first two series focus on the development of the lives of two of the main characters and the Lightness Saga brings it all together.
Darkness Series
Collector Series
Lightness Series

Every series is an emotional roller coaster and most of the characters are absolutely loveable. The story is full of broken people who have suffered many losses that find there way to healing through acceptance and love - whether it's through new found family, friends or mates.

Although the Lightness Saga was the best group of books, the Darkness Series was strong as well. I didn't rate any of the books in this series less than 4 stars.

Exceptionally Brilliant!!!

she's done it again. Stacey Marie Brown has left me speechless, emotional, and excited for what's to come next! This may be the end of a series of absolutely phenomenal proportions, but it just gives me a reason, (like I need one?) to explore this ingenious mind. I laughed, I cried, had my heart broke and fell in love, all within a matter of pages. I tip my hat to you Ms. Brown, please please please keep 'em comin!!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍

1 more book?

I never write reviews.. This book was truly heartbreaking. When the book ended, I felt it was left incomplete. My hope is that SMB writes another. Gabby, Nick, Cole, All of the children. I really want to hear how their relationships come together and develop over time. Ember and Lars. They were as close as he would allow them to be before Fiona and Piper. Lars did his best to keep her at a certain arms length in fear that he may not truly be her father, but they know the truth now, so this is a family that I truly would love to hear how that develops, and what this might mean for them. I wasn’t to hear him tell her he loves her. In past books, they both feel he is her true parent, but neither will admit it, so both of them keep with the uncle and niece line of thinking. I want to hear more about Ashlyn. I would love for her to come to Ember and Lars in the “dreams” that Ember had of her in SMB first series of this collection. Then there is Ember, and how she battles with the demon side of herself. She needs her father, as going insane is hereditary, and the story that Lars warned her of regarding her being a Dey. Also, can the freaking link between her and Torin be broke already. She is mated, and He has FINALLY fallen in love, at least I hope so. I mean that took for damn ever. Then there’s Wes. I’m sure that it isn’t just me that wants to see him finally heal by regaining that missing piece of his soul. To see him gain his beast back would help him gain back something that was stripped from him during his life altering imprisonment. How Kennedy and newly changed Lars will rule their kingdoms with all of these new changes, with all of their loss, healing. With all of the life altering tragedy’s that have come into each of their lives. I mean come on…this cannot be it. Will Eli and Ember have children? I would love to hear more about that. Will Cooper find a way to lengthen, what seems to be his new mates life, as she is human. Will our favorite pirate return? There are still so many missing things in this book that have me wanting more, that it doesn’t seem right that this book is it. This series may be closed, but I feel like another series should follow. Again, I just felt wanting when the book ended. It just doesn’t feel complete to me. Also, how will the fae and humans come together. The prejudice…. Yes I understand there will always have to be some, but again that leads back to everything that happened in this book. There just has to be more to come. I cannot see SMB leaving the readers with a book that leaves so many characters without a HEA. Time will tell. I haven’t read her new series, “Savage Lands,” yet. Maybe this is the beginning of what is to come relating to this series, with a hopeful continuation that leads to a series to complete this one? IDK, and I suppose time will tell. The series was really great, but again I was left wanting more than the epilogue of Embers last words in the book. There are so many things left that were incomplete, and with the heartbreak of loosing such beloved characters. A lot of major loss in this book. It just feels wrong to believe that this is it.
The world that still needs to be rebuilt… will the worlds be separated again, and if so, how will that change things because it will..
How Lars and Embers father daughter discovery of that final truth change and develop. To hear how their relationship develops, as he is looks like he is building a new family, but now that Ember is his, there needed to be more on that… Anyhow, I don’t feel like I’m the only one left wanting, or feels like I’m right about this. I hope SMB reads the reviews of her books because as great as this series was, I’m sorry to say, but this book series can’t be complete. This just can’t be finished. That’s just my opinion, yet I feel that it may be the opinion of many. Here’s hoping she just needed a break from these characters, and will come back to revisit them, so her audience of readers and fans aren’t left heartbroken from the end of so much tragedy left in this book series. Honestly, I can’t find a true HEA in this because there are so many main characters now, and they are left empty and broken.
Thank you for reading my thoughts. I hope more people write about theirs. Maybe, if SMB does read these reviews, she will begin something that will complete this line of series, that begins with the “Darkness” series. It’s a long line of different book series and characters that come together in these final books. My hope is that it just isn’t truly final..

Fantastic series end

I loved all of the different POV’s in this story, it was a nice way to see how each person and couple were feeling during some of the most important times of the story. I love Piper, her scenes were some of the best parts of the story. I enjoyed the new love that blossomed but was devastated by the losses, the ugly cry came out many times. I will miss these characters, this was a great journey with all of the highs and lows but so much love and redemption. I will especially miss Sprig, Cal, and Simmons, the comic relief when things got super sad. Now to finish Savage Lands, not sure if I want to start right away because I don’t want it all to be over.

An Amazing Ending to my Favorite Series

I have been reading/listening to this series for years now, since the beginning of Ember's story. I'm sad it took me this long to finish it. But, it was worth the wait.

Stacey is a phenomenal author, and I had no doubt that she would bring everyone's stories together and end with a bang. Good or bad, I wasn't sure. I will say it got intense enough that I MAY have threatened her about a quarter of the way through the book, but since I finished, I let her know we're cool.

I laughed, I cried, I got angry and had to stop what I was doing while listening through some nail-biting parts in the book. But overall, I am happy. All loose ends were tied up, yet she left some openings for potential additions to go with this world she so vividly created. It is definitely worth it to get all of her books in every series. From Ember, to Eli, Zoey, Kennedy, West, and to Lars. Read them all. You will not be disappointed.

This was a great book.

A bit hard at times to follow with so much going on but it was good. I wish they would make this series into movies. it would be very interesting to watch. i would change some things and make the good guys win alot more. But still great.
Of course some of the narrators are still annoying but since it was so mixed up with other good narrators it wasn't so hard to listen to.

Good overall

Not a bad end to an addictive series, but seemed like a lot of build up. I also wish we’d had lore Kennedy and Lorcan!
