Who doesn't love a runaway royal story? I loved how Emily gave us a glimpse into royal life's not so fun side - it ain't all fancy clothes and jewels!

Ellie's live is already planned out for her. As second in line to the throne, she's been preparing for her duties since birth, but is this the life she really wants? She decides to use her upcoming "holiday" to find out by dying her hair pink and disappearing into the Shoreditch neighborhood of London and landing a receptionist position in a tattoo shop. It's not long before sparks start flying between her and the shop owner, Sean. Can a relationship between a princess and a tattoo artist survive under the royal spotlight?

Will Watt and Charlotte Cole perform these characters and all the emotions with such grace, humility, and heat - holy cow!

Royal Reckoning by Emily Silver was a royally refreshing, intriguing, and steamy romance! This was my first book by Emily Silver, and it won't be my last. I read the ebook back when it was first released, and listening to the audio was such a delightful treat for my ears!

Charlotte Cole and Will Watt narrate this audio, and are absolute perfection as Ellie and Sean! Charlotte Cole truly shines bringing all of Ellie's passions, secret ambitions, and of course her love for Sean and her family to life in all the best ways! Charlotte captured Ellie's essence brilliantly. Will Watt's performance of Sean's determination, vulnerabilities, and charm is spot on as well! Will brought a certain tone to his voice that made Sean such a swoony and lovable guy!

Emily Silver has written quite a royal, radiant read! I loved it even more in audio! All of the characters in this book have such fun and lively personalities! If you love a royal romance with dedicated and loyal families, a hot tattooed hunk, a woman on a mission, a secret identity (pink hair!), delicious steamy time (hello hallway), and HEA perfection, then you will love this book!

Ellie has had enough of being a princess so she decides to take a vacation away from the palace. Sean is taken by this pink-haired mystery woman who has stumbled into his shop looking for a job. Sean and Ellie start to grow closer and closer but Ellie knows that time is running out before she will be summoned back to the palace. When the real world comes crashing down on them, Ellie is now faced with the toughest decision of her life.

I absolutely loved Sean and Ellie when I read their story and the audio made their story so much more. The pull they had to each other is so strong and the banter between them is classic. I fell in love with a lot of the side characters as well. This whole series is definitely worth checking out if you love royal romances.

Audio ... Will Watt and Charlotte Cole did a great job bringing both the characters and the story to life. This was my first time listening to both of these narrators and I really enjoyed them.

This is complete audio magic! Will Watt and Charlotte Cole absolutely bring life and heart to this story. It’s fun, flirty and oh so steamy!

Will Watt’s voice is a constant seduction as Sean while Charlotte Cole brings an authenticity to Eleanor that’s both heartfelt and sassy.

Seriously this audio is swoon-central and takes a fabulous book and brings it to the never level! Royals, accents and happily ever afters make Royal Reckoning an absolute must!

This was an intoxicating story!! AMAZING. An absolute 5 star must read alert. I'm still trying to come down from the absolute high that these characters gave me. It was just the read I needed: a sweet, loveable escape that kept me completely enthralled. This story is fun, sexy, heartwarming, moving & romantic. Kat and Sean are amazing together. I love their personalities, strength, and especially their hearts. What an amazing start to a new series. Charlotte Cole and Will Watt are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

This was my first Emily Silver book, and it was adorable! An instalust royal romance with a fake identity was exactly what I needed to escape reality for a bit. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

The narration was great. I loved their accents, and the whole book was a pleasant listen.
