About this listen

Florist Terri Martin lives a calm and peaceful life. Maybe too calm and too peaceful because she can't remember the last time she was in a relationship.

Terri calls Bad Boys for Hire to book herself a date for her thirtieth birthday party, but before she can hire one, she meets Ryker Slade, a biker hiding from his motorcycle club.

Old vendettas resurface and soon, Terri has more than she can handle when she learns that her and Ryker's love is as doomed as Romeo and Juliet's.

Ryker thinks he has a way out, but can Terri escape her fate, or will she find her lover dead before she wakes?

Bad Boys for Hire are fun and exciting stories where love is unexpected, but always delicious. They can be listened to standalone, but for greater enjoyment, please be sure to check out the other books in the series.

Bad Boys for Hire Series was awarded the 2016 Beck Valley Books Reviewers Choice Award.

Loved it!

This was a sexy and fun modern day Romeo and Juliet with bikers! The narrator did an amazing job with acting out the individual voices, and the plot kept me hanging all the way to the end! Looking forward to more of this series coming to audio. It will be an auto-buy for me!

Awesome book!

I loved this book! It is amazingly well written. The characters and the storyline were well developed and complex! There are so many twists the story keeps you engaged from the first page to the last! This is my first book by this author and it will not be my last!
Narration is very much personal preference but I think this was very well done, very professional, I enjoyed every minute!

Every one loves a bad boy

Would you consider the audio edition of Ryker to be better than the print version?

This is a great book by Rachelle Ayala. I really enjoyed reading it and can't wait to read the rest of the series. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book is about Terri who owns her own flower shop. She will soon be turning 30 and wants to attend her birthday party with a date. She goes to Bad Boys for Hire to hire a motorcycle bad boy and they are all out. She meets a homeless vet who is panhandling and starts yelling at him to get a job. When he walks across the street to where she was she hands him her business card and gives him some money and tells him to go to her shop for work. She sees him ride away on a harley.

This is when the book starts getting really good because we know that all of us are really attracted to those bad boy bikers that Mom always tells you to stay away. But there's nothing like harleys and leather to get a girl excited.

A great story that I think you will enjoy reading.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ryker, who wouldn't want a bad boy biker.

Which character – as performed by Chris Abell – was your favorite?

It is hard to tell. I liked them all

Any additional comments?

This is the first audio book that I have listened to and I really enjoyed it. I was able to put out stock and work while I was enjoying a book.

Great Read

Ryker (Bad Boys for Hire #1) by Rachelle Ayala was a great read. Terri is a florist who is looking for a change of pace before her thirtieth birthday. She calls Bad Boy for Hire for a hot motorcycle man to be her date to her party. She meets Ryker and doesn't expect how much everything is going to change. I can't wait to read more by Rachelle Ayala.

Bad guy biker & good girl biker?

Ryker is ex-military, born & raised by a 1% MC...but he isn’t comfortable with that life and has been homeless and panhandling since his return home. Terri feels something for to panhandler, gives him $20 and offers him a temp job at her flower shop. She sort of expects him to take her $$ and run and is surprised when he shows up for the job. The pair start a fling...then later on realize that their families are in rival MC. Think Westside Story but with bikes. Great story! Moving on to the next book in the series.

bad boys

characters needed to be devolped more in the story. Didnt get a emotional connection at all. Overall it was a good book for a short story. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator through Audiobook Boom.

So many twists!

I felt like my head was constantly spinning. As soon as I thought I figured out what was happening, something else happened and I couldn't wrap my head around it. I spent a good 20 minutes after finishing still trying to piece everything together. Here is a little sample of what is currently going on: "That was him?" "They don't know who she is?" "Her dad dad what?" "How did her mom do that?" "What is his mom doing?" "What the hell just happened?" "They all knew?" "What?" "Why?" "How?"

The narrator, Chris Abell, did a fantastic job with the characters. His gravely voice fit this book perfectly!

Romeo and Juliet biker story

I liked this sexy story of two hearts who find out their parents were from rival motorcycle clubs and have to figure out a way to stop an all out war. The narrstor had a nice voice and great execution. I received a complimentary audio and I am voluntarily reviewing.

I was highly amused hearing a man actually say those things

I love this book! It's grit and sex rolled into one which is almost combustible.
I can feel the sizzle, though I do wonder if the narrator felt comfortable reading some of it. Because it's a dual POV book, I guess I just took it for granted when I thought of it narrated by a woman. I got a giggle out of hearing a man say some of those things.
Only correction C-A-N-E ( when speaking of the dog) is pronounced kah-nay.
