About this listen

Kimber Klein has left the modeling world behind. She’s sick of the constant pressure to be perfect and ready to live her life without watching every little thing she eats. She’s also really happy to finally spend some time getting to know herself and the two sisters she never met until recently. Life is good...mostly. Kimber can’t stop worrying about a stalker she’s hoping she left behind in New York City. She doesn’t think he’s found her in Bridgeport, until one day she leaves her volunteer job at the elementary school library to find two of her tires slashed. Has her old life come back to haunt her in Ohio?

Gunnar Law is satisfied with his life as a single dad. He’s still getting to know his son, Jeremy, since he’s only been fostering the teen for a short while. While parenting someone you only just met can be a little awkward, Gunnar loves Jeremy and plans to adopt him as soon as they can get the paperwork through. Life is pretty simple, and he likes it that way. Then one afternoon, he and Jeremy stop to help a distraught - and extremely beautiful - woman who had her tires slashed in the school parking lot. And suddenly life doesn’t seem quite so simple anymore.

In this final chapter of the Dance with Me series, Shelley Shepard Gray leads us back to Bridgeport, Ohio, where family comes in all shapes and sizes, everyone deserves a second chance, and falling in love happens when you least expect it.

Cute, sweet, predictable, wholesome.

Nice little story. Very likable characters, down to earth, full of kindness and genuine caring. Well written with so.e unique aspects. The relationship dynamics between newly found sisters, aging parents and romantic interests are well developed and interesting.

The stalker part of the story was a but clichéd and predictable but added enough drama to pull the loose ends together.

Rating as a movie: PG-13 for adult content

My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐️

My thoughts: 26% (Ch. 10) - I'm loving this story a lot more than the last one, I think mostly because it has a similar plot to the first Bridgeport Social Club book, however I'm over the damsel in distress and keeping it on the low storyline, it's overdone and I don't like stupidity and lies.
48% (Ch. 17) - So many loose ends, but I'm loving the story that is being presented.
74% (ch. 26) - Loving it! I'm just going to ignore the stupidity. 🙃

I have completely finished this series and I'm set to read the next one even though it's not finished, Edgewater Road is a Cozy Mystery set in Amish Country with Englishers as the main characters. I enjoyed the Contemporary Romances from Shelley Shepard Gray, this series in particular had some flaws, first I was very annoyed that the secondary romance from book one was tossed to obscurity, although the character continued to be a big part of the series, then there was the change up in birth order of siblings, happened twice in this particular title. My final issue was each book featured a character that was stalked and tried to hide it, this particular case irritated me considering the character was present for the events of the last 2 books and already had a restraining order in place. People aren't this stupid, if someone is threatening you and you're scared, you tell. It was predictable and I kind of suspected the the ending but it was enjoyable. I only wish I got to know some of the new characters more.

Recommend to others?: Yes, this was my favorite of the 3.

Three Sisters United

This is a great story to end the dance trilogy. Suspenseful, joyful, heartbreaking ... a bit of everything. I love the ending.
