Meet Noah - an A-honor-roll student, award-winning swimmer, and small-town star destined for greatness. There weren't any signs that something was wrong until the day he confesses to molesting little girls during swim-team practice. He's sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile sexual-rehabilitation center.
His mother, Adrianne, refuses to turn her back on him despite his horrific crimes, but her husband won't allow Noah back into their home. In a series of shocking and shattering revelations, Adrianne is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. Just how far will she go to protect her son?
Saving Noah challenges everything you think you know about teenage sexual offenders. It will keep you up at night long after you've finished, questioning beliefs you once thought were true.

Spoiler alert

My advice to anyone who listens to this (and to the author, who has several other books I enjoyed):
The last chapter and the Epilogue should be switched. If you're about to listen to this, as soon as you get to chapter 29, stop the book and skip to the epilogue, (chapter 30) Then go back and listen to the final chapter as chapter 29.
Trust me - it's a MUCH more powerful punch of an ending that way. The way it is now it just trails off, when instead, it would smack you in the heart and head the other way around.
After Ch 29, I expected the epilogue/Ch 30 to have some hint of * SPOILER AHEAD * SPOILER AHEAD * SPOILER AHEAD * Ok, that's 3 chances not to read the next line. Seriously stop reading this review now if you don't want a spoiler: I wish the final epilogue was spoken by K about L having done something to her, or that we find out from L's part that during the time the family was split up, L admitted that he had done something while living alone with K. * SPOILER OVER * SPOILER OVER * SPOILER OVER.
Really intense story...

The narrator was difficult for me though. The story is set in the suburbs of Chicago. I've lived in Chicago for 20 years. The accents were ALL wrong. It drove me nuts. We're not in Minnesota or Canada, no one says "Sore-y." And no one here calls Navy Pier "The Navy Pier." Nit-picky I know but it bugged me.
Would still recommend though!!!
Wow. Shocked.
