Publisher's summary

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

She has a plan. He's about to change it.

Regan Wakefield is a headhunter in both name and personality: driven, motivated, and unafraid to pursue what - and who - she wants. Naturally, she's thrilled when her friend's wedding offers her an opportunity to score Logan McCade, the practically perfect best man. Unfortunately, groomsman Brock McNeil keeps getting in her way, riling her up in the most delicious of ways. But Brock's smooth southern charm isn't part of the plan...so how exactly did they end up having searing-hot sex? Regan may pretend the erotic electricity sparking between them is merely a distraction, but Brock knows better. She refuses to see beyond the devil-may-care facade he presents to the world, while he sees straight through hers. Changing her mind - and getting under her skin - is a challenge he can't resist. And when he wins, Brock will do whatever it takes to convince Regan that the best man for her is him.

OMG!!!!

The narrator did a TERRIBLE job with the male voices. I thought it was my 80 year old neighbor. Now I must listen to another book and get the voice out of my head. However I did enjoy the story.

Suprisingly Good

A couple of members of my current cadre chose this one; probably just to gaze upon the abs of the cover model. At $1.95 it didn't seem like that big a deal either way so i added to my wish list and eventually purchased it for them; it turned out to be money well spent. A nice little piece of romantic about two people overly effected by their childhood circumstances.
Regan, the female protagonist never does anything without a plan. Our male lead Brock likes to affect an attitude of the laid back underachiever and a man like that has no place in her future.
So here we have a pretty archetypal setup for way too many romance novels; the only thing that can save this stereotypical plot is likable characters that engage our support. Which is exactly what the author has managed to do. Well that and tell a pretty good story; one that manages to create quite a few likable characters as well as several good story lines; Reed and Sophie are particularly good additions to the book. The groom Colton has a good buddy speech for Brock as well; the kind that only works coming from someone you love and who you know loves you. In the end of course everything is tied up nicely.
It's an excellent bargain purchase well worth the price.

Brock and Regan rock!

Loved Brock and Regan's story! Brock is the supposedly playboy southern gent that's every woman's dream. He takes one look at Regan and knows she's trouble but he can't help himself. Regan, determined to stay away from the playboy keeps coming up short as everywhere she turns, Brock is there. He's determined to take down her walls to see the real Regan but Regan definitely gives him a run for his money! Little does she know, there is more to Brock besides his hot body, adorable smile, and southern charm but she's about to find out!

frustrating at first

this is a good book. normally though in these books I like the female characters. I freaking hated this female character. I very much disliked her behavior and attitude in the book. I will say that I softened towards her towards the end . However her general personality sucks. But that's part of what makes a good book.

Seducing the Bridesmaid

Well this book wasn't quite white I expected, but I did love it.
This book was a constant reminder that the truth is always the best policy.
I also was reminded that people can truly make changes to there loved and themselves if the truly want to (but some men and women change to please others) that is probably a good thing but we have to change for our selves.
If we change for others we most likely fail.
We don't change for the right reasons
We fail, the we try again hopefully.
For me failing is not an option.
Thank you
Mrs Maria Keesler

male voice & southern accent was AWFUL!!

Hard time with this one... narrators male voice & southern accent was AWFUL! made the male sound & appear like a toothless bumpkin! not the wealthy educated character the author created. I have heard some AMAZING HOT, SEXY southern voices on Audible- this one was the worst! It really made it hard for me to listen...I only did bc I read all the other books in this series & liked them...I don't know if these really great authors have any say in who narrates for them or if it's a $$$ thing...but it's only hurting them to not be involved from start to finish! If this has been my 1st in the series I wouldn't have made it past the 2nd chapter & not read any of the other 5 books.

Narration of the southern accent not great at all.

Would you try another book from Katee Robert and/or Jessica Wortham?

Yes by Katee Robert but I'm probably not going to if it's being narrated by Jessica Wortham. Sorry. Don't want to spend my money on it and not know if it is any good or not. Sorry.

Did Jessica Wortham do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

The narrator did a good job except for Brock's character. It really would have been a lot better without the crappy accent. It was way to slow and distracting. Hope this is the only time it happens, would hate to buy another book and get the same results.

Was Seducing the Bridesmaid worth the listening time?

It was a decent book but had a hard time focusing on what was being said when the fake unnatural southern male accent was narrated by this woman. She should have just narrated it in her regular voice. It would have sounded much better.

Nice and sweet

I like the story but it lost itself a little in the ending, it kinda lost its fevor... but still loved hearing it over it was fun and made laugh and smile many times... the performance made me feel everything but i had some disagreements in some parts about how it should sound, they weren't many though...
