Actionable, informative content if you are looking to actually change
Fair warning here: This book and it's contents can help you or your narcissistic friend or family member, BUT... They need to be willing to acknowledge the need for change themselves before they will be ready to receive this information.
This book is actually quite helpful in identifying, rooting out Narcissistic character traits. The strategies for improving and correcting destructive and self-sabotaging patterns and habits actually work, if implemented sincerely, in earnest.
I would recommend reading and using this together with "You Might Be A Narcissist If..."
The only thing this book (Self Aware Narcissism) really lacks is real world scenarios and stories of how people feel and behave on both sides of the narcissistic equation.
But just as it is, if you are sincerely wanting to stop sabotaging yourself and effect serious changes, and be honest, raw and real with yourself and those you love... This book is a fantastic resource.
