I appreciated that this book led you gently through a relatively simple concept that is sometimes very difficult to understand. This book helped me realize how important and reachable self compassion is. It offers concrete ways to live a meaningful life, and how to overcome our vicissitudes. Insightful Listen!
Typically I do not listen to many self-help books, but I found this one to be very insightful. Self-compassion is an area that I hadn't thought much of in the past, yet I will view it differently from now on. The narration in this book is straightforward and fitting of the subject matter. One does not want a dramatic narration for a self-help book. I would definitely listen to more books by these authors and narrator. The book is full of common sense and some very good points.
