A good short audiobook to quickly learn about the approach and aspects of self-discipline. It is very simple and straightforward and worth listening to get multi-angled focused snippets on self-discipline.

One example:
The most basic definition of self-discipline is the ability to cis the ability to give our self a command and then follow it. The key word here is your long-term goals – your reason why you say no to instant gratification. The second best thing to stick to the promises you made to yourself is to have a strong “why” and remind yourself of it when faced with a temptation.

I would definitely recommended it if you're interested in quick self-discipline advice. I would prefer a bit more details and better transitions between ideas, but it’s just my personal taste.

Very simple and straightforward, worth listening!!

Just fantastic. No time spent with a Steve Martin audiobook is ever, ever wasted. Here, he hones in on 9 major disciplines :

This book kinda reminds me of John Maxwell's books; fast but full. It's definitely a short but meaty book about self-discipline and how you can improve yourself; I love every part of it! No-fluff and direct to the ideas. I also love the tone of the content, very conversational that I was even shocked when the book ended and that one hour or so has passed that I haven't taken a break listening to it.

Narrator has a friendly voice too, just like how I love my audiobooks about these topics. 😍

If you understand something well, you can say it in less words. This author has obviously got the art of self-discipline down to a fine science, and I appreciate them sharing their knowledge.

Most straightforward, and practical self-improvement book I have read. One that actually has readily implementable, scientifically-based advice, not just motivational-mumbo-jumbo. Very grateful to the writer for synthesizing so much good material into one short audiobook.
Quite unlike many other audiobooks on Self-Discipline, this one focuses on the key points. Short and to the point with lots of practical techniques to form good habits while maintaining discipline and saving willpower...
