About this listen

When Shiloh Anderson’s ex left her stranded in a bar, with no clothes, no car, and no money, the last thing she expected was to have a one-night stand with the sexiest man she’d ever seen. But the soldier left more than just a lasting impression with her, he left her pregnant.

Sergeant Drake Edwards is a lot of things, but he’s never been an asshole. Until the nameless woman from his one-night stand sends him an email claiming to be pregnant with his baby. Demanding a paternity test seemed reasonable enough to him, but he didn’t count on how damn stubborn she could be.

When Drake is injured and is forced to return home, he’s brought face to face with Shiloh once more, and her beauty nearly takes him to his knees. Facing death changes a man, and Drake is determined to do whatever it takes to claim his baby - and the woman he can’t stop thinking about.

Can a one night stand lead to an HEA?

Shiloh is left stranded by her ex in a new town without any of her belongings. Due to the kindness of the bartender, she gets to sleep off her drunkenness in his apartment above the bar. She mistakenly ends up in his brother’s bedroom...when the brother shows up later that night, they end up having a one night stand. Then he slips out to return to deployment overseas. Several weeks later, Shiloh discovers that she’s pregnant and shares with her new friends...the bartender and his fiancée. She’s always had to fend for herself so it’s difficult for Shiloh to accept help. When Drake returns from deployment, he has a lot to make up for...he was horrible to Shiloh when she emailed him about the baby. Can Drake prove that he can be the father to the baby, and maybe win Shiloh in the process? Cute story.

Second Chances!!

I really enjoyed listening to Sergeant's Secret Baby by Paige Warren because it was a very steamy story about two strangers that had a one night stand and the chemistry was off the charts. Shiloh and Drake had very steamy chemistry the one night that they were together, but in the wake of everything that happened, Shiloh realized she was pregnant. Drake was in the army and half a world away. Shiloh's character was very independent and she wanted to do everything by herself. She had a very hard upbringing so she learned to be very independent. Drake's character was bristly at first and he was definitely a lady's man, but once he realized what had happened to Shiloh, he changed. The narrator was great in doing all the parts of the story. I would highly recommend reading/listening to this story. It was a short read, but it was so good. I received a free copy of this book via StoryOrigin and I am voluntarily choosing to leave this review. What a great story about second chances!!

Shiloh and Drake

I enjoyed this story. I liked how strong and independent Shiloh was. She went through a lot and continued to keep on going. Although Drake wasn’t ready for a baby, and started off on the wrong foot, he redeemed himself. It was endearing to take this journey with Drake and Shiloh.

Sweet, Funny and Steamy!

This is my second story from this author, and I loved it! Being a military spouse, the beginning of this story hit close to home regarding deployments and injuries, and I was surprised how accurate the details were in the story. Having said that I will say again I really loved this story. I found it endearing and laughed so hard in a lot of areas! I wish it was longer and included if they had a little boy or girl. I think the story would've been a bit better if it was narrated by a male and female voice. I would recommend this story to anyone!

Drake and Shiloh

I really enjoyed this one. The way Drake and Shiloh meet is pretty hot. Of course, Drake is a man who lets his mouth run before his mind catches up but he redeems himself and then some. It is a sweet short listen that makes you smile by the end. Miranda Mendius does a great job. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Short & Enjoyable

Sergeant's Secret Baby was a short and enjoyable listen. After a one-night stand with a Sergeant Drake Edwards, Shiloh is knocked-up. Drake is not too thrilled about becoming a father; his reluctance causing the two to start off on the wrong foot. The characters are great and relatable; I really felt Shiloh’s frustration and hurt. Despite the length of the audiobook, the story is well-paced and plotted. Overall, Sergeant's Secret Baby is a great listen, and I recommend it.
