About this listen

Desperate to save her sister's life, Sidonie Forsythe has agreed to submit herself to a terrible fate: Beyond the foreboding walls of Castle Craven, a notorious, hideously scarred scoundrel will take her virtue over the course of seven sinful nights. Yet instead of a monster, she encounters a man like no other. And during this week, she comes to care for Jonas Merrick in ways that defy all logic - even as a dark secret she carries threatens them both.

Ruthless loner Jonas knows exactly who he is. Should he forget, even for a moment, the curse he bears, a mere glance in the mirror serves as an agonizing reminder. So when the lovely Sidonie turns up on his doorstep, her seduction is an even more delicious prospect than he originally planned. But the hardened outcast is soon moved by her innocent beauty, sharp wit, and surprising courage. Now as dangerous enemies gather at the gate to destroy them, can their new, fragile love survive?

Would you listen to Seven Nights in a Rogue's Bed again? Why?

ABSOLUTELY, Love the narrator, the great story and wit... totally enjoyed it

Have you listened to any of Antony Ferguson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Every BOOK I can, Antony is one of my favorites... just love him reading historical romances to me! Compares to be as great as always, he was born to read these!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

THIS BEAST IS MORE THAN SKIN DEEP

Any additional comments?

There is only this one book of the series available on audio... totally want the others as well as more Anna Campbell, and hopefully Antony reads them.

BEAUTIFUL, CHARMING, IRRESISTIBLE BEAST

I enjoyed this book. Excited to read the rest of the series. Sidonue and Jonas story was compelling. And at times frustrating. Disappointed in Roberta.

Good Read

Good story overall. It is pretty intense all the way through! And Anthony Ferguson does a pretty good job. I wasn't sure about the narration at first, but he really grows on you after a while.

Steamy Romance

I liked it but thought the first half was a bit slower than I had expected.

Definitely a scorcher!

Horrible, overdone narration. almost couldn't listen due to performance. Story was entertaining although author was a little heavy on purple prose.

Horrible overdone narration. Entertaining story.

Great storyline. Kept my interest and was not super mushy. The only two things I did not like as much as the other two stories in the series (although not marked as if they are) was
1) the narration and 2) Anna Campbell included a lot more mind babble and character insecurities that did not make sense because it worked better for the story. Other than that I really did enjoy this book and am planning to purchase the last Audible book offered by her.

I missed Steve West narration!

I usually like Antony Ferguson's narration, but this was a fail for me. The pauses. Between. Every. Phrase. Drove. Me. Mad. It was so distracting that I found myself more focused on the cadence of his delivery than I was on the story. By the end of the book, I couldn't say if I enjoyed the story or not -- his voice took it to melodramatic extremes that frustrated any possible enjoyment. I'm very disappointed.

I will not re-listen to this one and it's a shame. I think there was a good book in there, but I didn't get to hear it.

Narrator ruins this one.

I liked the premise and really enjoyed the book until it headed toward the end. I’m not a fan of the issues remaining unresolved and the HEA not happening until the last five seconds of the book-literally. In fact I’m not even sure it’s an HEA. It was more like a brief surrender. The five minute epilogue to follow did not make up for the hours and hours of angst that I listened to to get there.

A bit disappointing in the end

It drew me in right from the start - Jonas is a scarred, tormented and tortured rogue who gets more than he had bargained for when Sidonie agrees to give up her virginity and spend 7 nights with him. He soon realises 7 nights are not enough but he needs to seduce her in order to win her heart forever.

Good story with secrets that shouldn't be kept and it has suspense with another sub plot too, two leading characters that you can't help but empathise with and it has you routing for them both and their doomed relationship.

Worth a credit? Yes, and I haven't listened to any of Anna Campbell's other books but I would definitely give them a try too.

A really sweet beauty and the beast story

What made the experience of listening to Seven Nights in a Rogue's Bed the most enjoyable?

I was very drawn to both the hero and heroine. Their chemistry was off the charts.

What does Antony Ferguson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Antony Ferguson has a wonderful voice. I loved to listen to him and I've re-listened to the book twice already because of his narrating. He can read me a historical romance any time he wants.

Any additional comments?

This romance is meant to be a Beauty and the Beast re-telling.

Steamy and delicious
