It’s a tale of two friends from long ago finding each other in the most unlikely place. They come together to find their way out of danger falling in love along the way. Fantastic narration and a compelling story. Worth the listen!

This is my first novel and performance by this author and narrator, and its a huge hats off to both. The story is gripping and I was totally invested by the middle of chapter 1. The two MC'S are thoroughly fleshed out, and three dimensional, with strong backgrounds and supporting characters. With Jenny and Seven, you understand why they do what they do.
Some reviewers lowered their review stars because of lack of sex. The romance blossoms and is handled with class. I don't need, everything written out for me to know how two woman have sex with each other. I like the nuance! I've read hundreds of lesbian fiction and having a story with this much depth, is truly refreshing.
It's an intriguing story who's characters are lesbian, but there is so much more to round this out.
The narrator was spot on, giving all the pathos, inflections, and emotions.
Its a great, long book (which is another plus) and definitely worth more than a credit. Many hours wait to entertain you!

This was a good book to listen to. This book has friendship, bad ass military, at one point annoying lady but had good intentions, it had love - it didn't get heated but the love/romance was there, and a good amount of action/fight scenes.

Bought this on a recommendation. So glad I did. It was a lot of fun. Note that there is a good amount of violence in this book, and a really twisted character. But none of it is gratuitous.

Good love story, good action. Will look for more books by Murray!

Yep, that’s all I could say when this adventure ended. WOW! Ms. Murray was either a sharpshooting spook in real life or has an exceptional investigative process and instinct when developing characters and plots. This deserves 5 stars, but received 4 on performance as there were a few times I had to rewind to see which character I was listening to. The storyline is so overpowering you want to urn the page before finishing the page and not take a breath for several. Leslie McDonel became this reader and was each character. I wait in anticipation of Ms. Murray’s next book, audio or other, and hope Ms McDonel is the chosen narrator!

I had this audio book in my queue for a long time period I'm not sure if it was the length of the book that scared me or the fact that I read a review from somebody that warned us that there was no sex in the love story. I'm glad I finally purchased Sharpshooter because it was a great story. The 1st half of the book I thought was taking forever to get anywhere with all the information on the characters, but by the 2nd half I was anxious to get in my car to continue with the adventure. There were sex scenes by the way they just weren't described in great detail. Basically this was a lesbian adventure story of 2 childhood friends finding each other as adults in a scary, foreign country and kicking ass and saving each other's lives along the way and of course, falling in love. I loved all the musical references!!!! Narrator was good.

I really enjoyed Sharpshooter. I was almost envious of the friendship between Seven and Jenny. Note: Quite a bit of violence. Just giving you a heads up. Leslie McDonel does an excellent job with the narration.
