Publisher's summary

Once upon a time, I thought I'd found my happy ever after. Until she ruined it all.

I'd been on the hunt for four long years, and I finally found her.

I planned the perfect revenge. Kidnapping Rapsody on the day she was set to marry another man and forcing her to face my wrath while trapped in the confines of my family's gothic manor.

Despite my desire to punish her, there is still an undeniable pull between us. But as the walls of the manor close in around us, we both have to confront the truth. Can we trust each other, or will my dark past consume us both?

SHATTERED VOWS is a dark contemporary romance that weaves together the themes of desire and redemption and is a Rapunzel reimagining with the following tropes: age gap, anti-hero, gothic romance, secret society, forced proximity, opposites attract, enemies to lovers, morality chain, billionaire, and second chance.

So good

From the first chapter I was drawn onto the story that P. Rayne wove in Shattered Vows. This is Kol Voss and Rhapsody’s story, and it was an intense, well written story that held me captive.
Voss has waited four years to find her and get answers to the questions that have plagued him and now that he has, all bets are off. He is determined to punish her but the attraction and feelings they once shared are just as strong as they once were.

It was wonderful to watch Rhapsody blossom as she got out from under her mother’s influence. As they re-connected, it was heartwarming and the passion sizzled between them,

What follows is a story that was filled with twists and turns and so much heat that you could feel it coming off the pages. As the past comes back to confront them, Kol will do whatever it takes for those he loves.
Shattered Vows is narrated by Tor Thom and Muffy Newton and boy did they bring all the sizzle and passion to life with their performances. Not only are their voices easy to listen to but their voices did justice to the characters and the story.

I cannot wait to see what P. Rayne has in store for the other brothers.

Kol & Rapsody!

Well, well, well! P Rayne gave me another fairy tale retelling and it's fantastic! I love this trope, and picking Rapunzel for Rapsody is perfect! Rapsody and Kol were getting married! A whirlwind romance, and Rapsody finds herself getting cold feet. Leaving him at the alter, she disappears and Kol is heart broken. As finishes out his military term and finally finds her, just as she is about to walk up the aisle to a new groom. Is she happy about this? There are reasons why she fled this dark, dangerous man. But did that make her love him any less? P Rayne weaves a passionate web around these characters. Rapsody has been sheltered her whole life by her mother and this broody man is not the kind her mother has in store for her. Kol is determined to get what he wants. I absolutely love this world. Billionare Voss brothers are gritty, dark and broody, impossible to resist. And the visits to Midnight Manor are just the ticket to their world. Loved this retelling, and the look ahead has just left me wanting more. Please bring it on! I am ready!

Tor Thom and Muffy Newtown are the story tellers and better voices could not have been chosen. Dark, dangerous and sensual, Tor Thom portrays Kol perfectly. He brings out all the alpha male with a hint of vulnerability when it comes to Rapsody. Newtown is Rapsody. A bit frightened, a lot in love but confused , she make her feel and grow. These two are amazing together in this fairy tale and made the listen exciting and alluring!
