About this listen

Voce: Silvia Cecchini. Cornice musicale di Niccolò Paganini.

Entretaining

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I don't like much housechores. I don't find them funny. So I listen to easy, entretaining stories on my phone while I do them. This is one of this kind of stories. Nothing deep about it, our classic Sherlock Holmes is an unbelievable character: way too perfect. But again, the story has so many twists, and it has that catch ("Who was the killer?") that makes it very entretaining. And motivate me to move my ass into cleaning.

What did you like best about this story?

The twists, and the story inside of the story.

Have you listened to any of Silvia Cecchini’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to many of Silvia Cecchini's performances, and love them all. I even wrote a letter to her (Ehi, Silvia! Rispondemi! :D). She has a great advantage: Italian is such a beautiul language, so expresive, that you have to be brutal to make it sound ugly. And she has a very nice voice, the intonation and pitch show that she had worked hard on it.It is like to listen to an old friend, so calm, so familiar. Her voice is the equivalent in female and Italian to a Morgan Freeman voice. I hope I made my point: I like it very much.
