About this listen

In the U.S. Marine Corps, the most dangerous job in combat is that of the sniper. With no backup and little communication with the outside world, these men disappear for weeks on end in the wilderness with nothing but intellect and iron will to protect them - as they watch, wait, and finally strike. But of all of the snipers who ever hunted human prey, one man stands above the rest as the most legendary fighting man to ever pull a trigger. That man is Carlos Hathcock.

Silent Warrior tells the incredible story of Hathcock, with harrowing, never-before-published accounts of courage and perseverance. These are the powerful stories of a man who rose to greatness not for personal gain or glory but for duty and honor. A rare inside look at the U.S. Marines' most challenging missions - and one man who made military history.

As good as the first!

Loved this book as much as Marine Sniper.... what a fantastic tribute to the man who was and still is one of the greatest Marines. Thankful to have read more about his life and missions. His work ethic and courage facing life's hardest moments is truly inspiring. Wish I could have met him and shook his hand. God Bless all who serve and protect our freedom. Thank you Charles for telling us the rest of his story.

meh

A good listen, but an awful lot of creative license. Worth the listen if you're a Hathcock fan.

Great story of a great soldier

This book puts you in with grunts on
Ground. It is a true story of a marine sniper, Carlos Hathcock II and of those who fought with him in Vietnam . I can see why it was on the Bestseller list for so long.

Outstanding!

Fortunately, stories of patriotism, heroism and selfless-sacrifice haven’t yet gone out of style! I hope they never will.

Just like Marine stories should be told

A great book to enjoy listening to. A final tribute to White Feather, his work, his legacy, and his life.

Expertly Written

This book is written so eloquently, I plan on buying a printed copy just so I can take it all in again. The descriptions about Marine life now have meaning to me, which could have never happened without reading this book. Simply loved the honor upheld throughout. Makes an American feel even more patriotic to know the inside story.
