About this listen

A beautiful opposites-attract lesbian romance fused with music, fear, hope, and honesty.

Primary school teacher and singer Rosie Tanner has stopped waiting for someone with whom to have a baby. She's diving in and going it alone...although her pregnancy plans are a secret for now.

Amber Kingsley's only goal is to stay sober and safe, so any complications like relationships are definitely out. That is, until she accidentally joins a community choir - despite having no musical talent or interest - after laying eyes on beautiful star soloist Rosie.

It seems her heart has some crazy ideas. So should Amber actually listen to it?

Contains mature themes.

I really enjoyed this book. it is a rare romantic story that stays realistic and wonderfully romantic. The life challenges are from the vagaries of life, the jobs are normal, the friends are real and genuine and the attraction is identifiable. Not a story about the 1% who are the most rich, successful, beautiful and idealized and yet you felt the sincere love story. This type of story is full of the possibility of a real life with real love. There is much more to recognize in the story as well. I highly recommend this book.

Real Love

Enjoyed the development of the main characters relationship. Pregnancy was an interesting add-on to consider for certain aspects. The birthing scene was quite realistic. I thought it was great.

Love the theme of music

I liked this book however I wish it was longer after the baby was born. I felt it could use more story building and character growth after that event. It’s still good and you should read/listen to it.

Good book

I scrolled passed this book a couple of times as I wasn’t sure if I would like the story or not. I really enjoyed it. Both characters were complicated and very human, but caring people.

Would definitely recommend
