About this listen

Sometimes I wrestle my demons. Sometimes we just snuggle.—Bumper Sticker
Most girls might think twice before getting engaged to someone like Reyes Farrow—but Charley Davidson is not most girls. She's a paranormal private eye and grim reaper-in-training who's known to be a bit of a hell-raiser, especially after a few shots of caffeine. Her beloved Reyes may be the only begotten son of evil, but he's dark and sultry and deeply sexy and everything Charley could hope for. Really. But when the FBI file on Reyes' childhood happens to land into her lap, she can't help herself: She opens it...and then the real fun begins. First, Charley finds a naked corpse riding shotgun in her car. Then, a man loses his soul in a card game. Throw in a Deaf boy who sees dead people, a woman running from mobsters, and a very suspicious Reyes, and things can't get any worse for Charley. Unless, of course, the Twelve Beasts of Hell are unleashed…

Sixth Grave on the Edge is the sixth Charley Davidson novel from bestselling author Darynda Jones

The "Grave" books

Would you listen to Sixth Grave on the Edge again? Why?

Hell yeah!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Charley, Raez, Cookie, UB....every character is awesome!

What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She must be the best reader I've ever heard. She brings each character to life in vivid clarity! She has set the bar for me as far as readers go for me and in fact I've returned 2 audio books BECAUSE of the readers.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I swore when I realized it was over. I was so disappointed my book was over!

Any additional comments?

When is the next one???

Coffee is on.

As good as all the rest of the series, defiantly needs to be read in order. Funny and lovable characters that keep the story hopping. Sexy and sweet love story happening between Charley and Reyes. I laugh at the coffee references, do you think she might be an addict? Lots of detecting of sorts going on for clients, friends and family. Some of them solved while others left hanging for the series to continue. Such as what's up with her dad? I'm also a little confused on the prophesy and the character The Dealer. I know this was part of the cliffhanger and will not be explained until the next book, but I'm confused on the story line. Narrator rocks, I love Lorelei King's works.

wedding and baby

these books are getting better and better.. I am happy cookies daughter finally came clean about skipping and lying, and UB and Cookie are finally dating.it seems that life is looking up for eveeryone. for sure I thought that Reyes was going to die when the bad guy got him but there is always a catch that you don't see coming. and now a little Charlie on the way, I wonder what pleasure or destruction she will bring.
