My favorite bedtime stories beautifully read by a soothing, relaxing deep voice I listen to them over and over every night.

I could listen to Richard Armitage read all day; his voice is like butter. I play this in the background while I work on projects.

I usually never make it past the first chapter. RA’s voice is very soothing. To be honest could use a dash more RA and a little less rain.

The voice, tempo and words combine to produce the desired effect. Great work. Wish there were more to choose.

Easy to drift away

Not all the stories work for me, so I listen to the first chapter over and over. Sleep is important and my mind has a difficult time slowing down sometimes. His voice is soothing, making it easy to follow down a path and drifting off to sleep.

I can go to sleep…

It literally doesn’t matter what he is saying, I would blissfully listen to Richard Armitage read anything, even if I didn’t speak English and understand a word he was saying. His voice is just pure, velvety comfort. This and his narration of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell are my go-to’s when my anxious brain can’t sleep. My only criticism for this series is that I wish he was just speaking the whole time, rather than having some sections of soothing white noise. My brain gently startles back to awareness when a new episode starts and the narration comes back in. Give me 8 hours of Richard Armitage reading the Oxford English Dictionary and I have no doubt I’d get the best sleep of my life!

The story and voice was nice. The beginning of some chapters sounded like car horns. Some of the sounds woke me up. Another sounded like bugs.

Nice voice , irritating background
