About this listen

Her fate awaits her.

When Elizabeth Montgomery gets attacked by a werewolf while on vacation, she thinks the worst is over. But it's just beginning. Now, she has to worry about surviving her first full moon while the wolf that bit her continues to murder women and leave their bodies in the woods. As if that wasn't enough, she's now a part of a large pack of werewolves and she's never been good at fitting in.

Then there's Abraham, the alpha of her new pack. He's sweet, funny, charming, sexy as sin, and hell-bent on getting closer to her. She feels this strange connection to him, this need to let him in, but she's fighting it.

Will she tear down her walls and let Abraham into her life? Can they find out who the killer is before he comes back for Elizabeth? And what happens when the dust settles? Will she live part-time with her new pack or forsake her old life completely?

Contains mature themes.

I loved this story, except the repetitiveness.

The same theme throughout the entire series, across all three books.
Still a great listen, and I really hope more story comes out of Beatrice and William’s dynamic.

Love this but,

While this is a great grouping I think the only thing that was not so good was Ellie. She was a drudge to listen to. She kept dragging on the what-ifs and not on what-is. Since she was the crux of the story it should have gotten better sooner rather than later. Just my opinion. I think the only reason to sit through this is because the outliers were better than Elie.

Well umm 🤔

I have to say that the FMC was almost insufferable and selfish. For a lawyer she doesn’t have much common sense, I wouldn’t like her at all if she didn’t sound like Dolly Parton the MMC sounded like Forest Gump sometimes. But the story would have been more interesting if the author did more character development we knew very little about any of them except they lost their parents and Elizabeth’s parents were awful. The fact that the last hour of the book had the most excitement was a problem as well. As a northerner the southern voices carried the story for me.

loved it

loved it, can't wait to read the sisters series next. As a lawyer though, some of her thoughts and choices didn't make since though.

In love!

Having read these books I had high expectations for the audiobook, and was not disappointed! Ellie was brought to life! I still wish more of this book came from Abraham's perspective, but it's such a great telling from the singular perspective!

Loved this story

This was a great book! Long but worth the listen. I know it’s “southern” but the female narrator sounded like Dolly Parton. I just couldn’t help but picture her through out the book-kept having to look at the title’s illustration to stop the thoughts. Other than that it was good.

I wanted to like this….

I enjoyed that this wasn’t just a paranormal romance. It has a bit of cozy mystery wrapped into it. But dear me, I don’t know if the author could have created a more annoying and obstinate main character. The FMC is supposed to be well-educated and a lawyer. She acts like a spoiled child with no common sense. I am about ready to pull my hair out.

And her love interest starts to lose his charm. He is supposed to be an alpha, but has no follow through with his orders which results in his mate being continuously bullied by one character.
