Publisher's summary

Six people sit down to a sumptuous meal at a table laid for seven. In front of the empty place is a sprig of rosemary - "rosemary for remembrance." A strange sentiment considering no one is likely to forget the night, exactly a year ago, that Rosemary Barton died at exactly the same table, her beautiful face unrecognizable, convulsed with pain and horror.

But then Rosemary had always been memorable - she had the ability to arouse strong passions in most people she met. In one case, strong enough to kill....

Top drawer narration, clever plot

Agatha Christie weaves another clever mystery brought to life fantastically by the narrator Hugh Fraser

Character changes

The characters and their changes made this a very fun listen while cleaning closets. After reading the reviews I was really looking forward to listening and comparing my reaction. I loved the whole book.

A bit of a twist in the end, characters were fun!

Hugh Fraser is exceptional! He’s able to portray every character so distinctly, I almost forget he is alone in narrating.

Wonderful Narration

Hugh Fraser has once again delivered a wonderful performance! I much prefer his interpretation of Colonel Race to David Suchet's.

A clever slight of hand with words

This was brilliant beyond words! It was easy to follow, but I did expect the misdirect thrown in even though I suspected who it might have been. Another ingenius work by a master of the genre!

Slow Start

I own & have listened to almost everything Agatha Christie on Audible. I bought this book ages ago but, despite the excellent narration, I just couldn't get into the story the 1st time I tried to listen to it. However, having run out of other Christie options, I gave it another go. And I am so glad I did! If you are like me and find this one slow to get invested in, hang in there! It really is another excellent story!

Classic Christie

A bit unknown to me, and altogether classic Christie. Everyone's a suspect until the absolute last part of the last chapter.
