I didn't think the narration could get worse...

the story is outstanding and the narration is equally as terrible. Please get Marc Thompson, a tru artist at narration!

Slow and short...

Very short listen for $11 and narration is pretty bad especially if you've listened to Marc Thompson narrate any of the Star Wars books. I just really want to finish the Jedi Order series but the narration is making that tough to suffer through.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would if it was unabridged. To short and cuts way to much out of the story.

What other book might you compare Star Wars to and why?

It comapres to all of the New Jedi Order

Which scene was your favorite?

I dont Have one

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Nope

Any additional comments?

Make it unabridged

I don't understand how Michael cumpsty got the job. like really I don't understand. I just wish the writing had been a little stronger and the narration could have been done a lot better.

Please stop

Why even have Jonathan David and Marc Thompson read SW novels if you’re gonna then try to pass off Anthony Heald and whomever the hell this guy was. Davis and Thompson are elite. And get fans accustomed to a certain standard. A standard expected of a billion dollar grossing franchise. But nope. Let’s have ransoms who apparently have never even researched the projects. How do you have multiple narrators mispronounce such key names and titles?? And this guy was so monotone with all characters that at one point I had to rewind almost a full four minutes because I zoned out and lost interest.

Rushed

The abridged versions of these books cut out at least 7 hours of material, now you get the gist when you listen to them but it feels rushed and like there are important conversations that you miss. Basically To me it feels like a movie in audiobook form. I will say that I do enjoy the extra sounds and the inclusion of music.
