About this listen

A string of smashing victories by the forces of the sinister aliens known as the Yuuzhan Vong has stretched the New Republic's resources and morale to the breaking point. Leia Organa Solo, estranged from her husband, Han, oversees the evacuation of refugees on planets in the path of the merciless invaders. Luke Skywalker struggles to hold the fractious Jedi Knights together, even while one of them undertakes a bold but reckless undercover mission.

Manipulating their alliance with the amoral Hutts, the Yuuzhan Vong leave a cunning trail of vital information where New Republic agents are sure to find it - information the desperate defenders cannot afford to ignore: the location of the aliens' next target.

Then Han Solo stumbles into the dark heart of a raging battle, thus beginning a furious race against time that will require every skill and trick in his arsenal to win.

The voice acting is getting much better.

I definitely prefer this narrator over the other. Story is awesome, I’ve always wanted to know about this particular war and the history of the solo kids.

Full length

I would enjoy the book alot more if it was the unabridged version of the story.

Finally hits the mark.. never mind it’s abridged..

Narrator and production finally hit the mark but it suffers in pacing and story telling. Desperately needs to be unabridged.

Abridged....bleh

too much is lost in the abridged version. it's like trying to take a miniseries and cramming it into a 30 minute sitcom. last one I'll pay for.

njo series should not be abridged

the njo series is one of the best e.u story arcs ever written and thus should not be abridged and there is a better narrator out there (we all know who he is)

Feel like I've been ripped off

What would have made Star Wars: The New Jedi Order: Agents of Chaos II: Jedi Eclipse better?

If it were not a abridged version of the original book. I've read the books so much of the story is missing it's terrible.

Would you ever listen to anything by James Luceno again?

If it were not a abridged version of the original book. I've read the books so much of the story is missing it's terrible.

What aspect of Anthony Heald’s performance would you have changed?

It's not the performance so much as the lack of the entire story.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No

Any additional comments?

Do the whole story not an abridged version. I feel like I've been ripped off. Don't even want to keep Audible. The fact that the book is abridged should be highly visible.

FINALLY!!!!

After about a 8-book stretch of listening to the novels in order, I’m FINALLY done with Anthony Heald!!!!! Never thought I’d genuinely be happy to not have to listen to a narrator. Some people and some content just don’t mesh well. AH would be great playing Casey Kasem in some biography. But he doesn’t belong in SW.

Not a great book

The reading was great however the audio effects were often too loud and distracting but a nice touch. This is not a book though it's apparently just a long chapter of a much longer story, interesting but really does not conform to any story arc that I am familiar with.
