About this listen

Once the wolves of Dublin take control, who knows what they plan to do with us?

They are savages. And we are at their mercy.

It is the year 870. Hordes of Vikings sweep through the green lands of Northumbria and Ireland, raiding and pillaging. Soon, no kingdom will be safe from their bloodlust.

Tamsin has always been safe behind the walls of her sanctuary. Safe enough to yearn for a glimpse of the world beyond. But with the Viking threat looming, even her secretive kingdom must open its gates to invite allies.

And she gets far more than a glimpse.

The three lords of Dublin are on the hunt for women of her kind. Thrain Mordsson, youngest of the three and bent on a personal vendetta, doesn't take much stock in the ancient prophecies. He marches into battle for the glory rather than the spoils.

Until he finds himself standing right in front of a fiery-haired princess, and the touch of her hand wakes an ancient magic in them both.

Once Thrain has earned Tamsin's trust, once he has tasted her in the darkness of her godhouse, his loyalties begin to splinter. And all he knows is that he must protect her from the coming storm at any cost.

Stolen by the Wolves is a fantasy non-shifter omegaverse romance based loosely on real historical events. In this new slow-burn reverse harem series, kingdoms break apart, and ancient magic is rediscovered. Intended for mature listeners.

wonderful

A good mix between historical fiction and romance. The male voice actor did a great job with the accents. The female voice actor had an odd breathiness that would pull me out of the story, and would "lose" the Irish accent a lot; her Norse accents also sounded more Slavic/Russian.

Viking omegaverse romance

The narrators did a phenomenal job with this book. I’m still thinking about what happened at the end that was crazy. I’m still thinking about it.. I can’t wait till book 2 releases an audio next month.

So glad I wasn’t dissuaded by the cover art!

This was an impulse buy. I knew nothing about this author, never read (or listened to) any Viking fiction & didn’t even know what an “omegaverse” was…🤦‍♀️ yet my impulsively was generously rewarded (take that toxic trait)!! I burned through books 1 & 2 in a week and did not hesitate to buy book 3. I agree with the other reviewers with respect to the narration. Lane is especially incredible (funnily enough, initially I found the narration…off-putting. Now, it’s difficult for me to remember feeling anything but gushing enthusiasm.)
One final hats off to the author and this series:
Admittedly, I almost always opt to listen to books I wouldn’t normally read (another toxic trait?Perhaps!) Either way, at this point I’ve listened to about a gazillion audiobooks and this is only the second time I wish I’d actually read the book first. 5 stars all around.

great storytelling

I did not have high expectations. my favorite fantasy books are acotar and FBAA and honestly, I was just expecting this to be corny smut. I was VERY pleasantly surprised and would recommend this book all day.

Love the slow burn, omega verse and Vikings!

Both narrators did an amazing job. They both brought to life each character in their own ways. The roller coaster of emotions of betrayal was absolutely amazing. The FMC aligning herself with the Viking enemy against her betroth, who is also her enemy. Being double crossed by her betroth, and then triple crossed by the Vikings. Leading to a complicated mess with the alliances. Love the cliffhanger can’t wait for the second book.

Stunning 😍

Slow to start just because of all the background, but once you're in the story, it's intoxicatingly good.

Fun Listen

Loved these characters. The narration is really really good. This book isn't super spicy, but the story and characters are really fun. The world is interesting and I really enjoyed how the omegaverse was weaved in. Captured me enough to immediately move on to the second book 🙏
