Publisher's summary

The new page-turning Stone Barrington novel from the perennially entertaining New York Times best-selling author. Stone Barrington is enjoying his usual dinner at Elaine's when his boss at Woodman & Weld, the law firm where Stone is "of counsel," walks in, sits down, and hands Stone a check for one million dollars. It seems Stone's undercover dealings with MI6 have brought in a big new client for the firm, and they're willing to pay Stone a huge bonus and make him a partner. But almost as soon as he's taken the deal, Stone gets wind of an impending scandal that might torpedo his big promotion: It may be that the lucrative new client whom he's introduced to the firm might be a Bernie Madoff in disguise...

Music between chapters

The adding of the cheesy music between the chapters cheapens the experience of the audio books and is distracting to the listener. Not necessary and a bad idea!

Typical Stuart Woods.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would like to see a little more depth to characters.

If you’ve listened to books by Stuart Woods before, how does this one compare?

As good as most of his books

Which character – as performed by Tony Roberts – was your favorite?

Stone

Could you see Strategic Moves being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No.

Any additional comments?

I'm always expecting Woods to bring more intrigue and suspense. I can always figure out the ending and although I have enjoyed the books, I am disappointed that it's always the same "story" with different characters.

Reading now. Fascinating story

While the formulas remain the same in all the Stone Barrington books, the stories show very inventive plots and I enjoy every one. I am just about to the end of the Stone Barrington books and will miss him until the next one comes out.

Love the mysteries but.....

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I love the mysteries in all the Stuart Woods books but I could do without the very explicit details of Stone's ever changing love/lust life.

Best Stone Barrington I've read!

The story kept me on the edge of my seat. Been a Stuart Woods fan for a long time -- this was the best.

On of the best in the series

This is one of the best in the Stone Barrington series. I love the production quality, the narrator and the story. I also feel like the music that plays at the beginning and end and at key points in the story add an old Hollywood feel to the production that you don't get from many audio books. I really wish they would bring that feature back to the newer works.

love Stone and Dino

another great one I don't care what the naysayers post. another great Corkscrew plot stunning visuals and engrossing entertainment. It ain't Shakespeare. I have no idea why mr. Woods has engaged Tony Roberts for so many less than mediocre readings. hate to criticize a sincere artist however he is not capable of multiple voices
