About this listen

I was cursed.

It wasn't an exaggeration. It wasn't even dramatics—though I was prone to those. It was a fact. And a sucky one at that.

After inheriting my grandmother's home, I thought my luck had turned around. A fresh start in the one place where I'd found solace from my cruel father.

But I was cursed, remember? So rather than a quiet life, I faced mysteries, con artists, disastrous dates, stoned witches, magicks, and evil organizations out to do evil things. And a house that was haunted.

Only my ghost wasn't a creepy specter with rattling chains. Nor was it a murderous Victorian child. It wasn't even a comedic ghoul trying to scare me out of the house with a possessed singalong. That would be too easy.

My invisible squatter was snarky. Pop culture obsessed. Disconcertingly charming with a voice that was otherworldly hot.

And not actually a ghost. He wasn't completely human, either. But that was okay. Apparently, neither was I…

From USA Today bestselling author Layla Frost comes a twisty fantasy novel about fated mates, evil, and a spicy take on magicks. For mature listeners.

A truly cute and hilarious romantasy.

This book had me howling with laughter! I really enjoyed this book. I only wish that we got a better explanation behind Hayden and Nate’s future. Felt like everything got cut off really quickly. I also wish this was duet… it’s hard to hear the FMC talk about how they love the MMC’s deep voice when the female performer’s male voice sounds like a pre pubescent boy. Feels… weird…

Still a wonderful book!

Great Narration For an Amazing Story

I loved this story the first time I read it...and quickly reread it. now to hear it come to life, it was the icing on the cake. the narrators did a great job bringing the story and characters to life.

Cute!

Starts off a little slow but ends really good. Good chemistry with the main 2 characters.

The new take on an old archetype

I love the little hellion and how the characters unfold throughout the story.
It is a beautiful evolution of love, paranormal adventure and magicks.

Don’t miss out!!

Basic... But trying desperately not to be

I really liked the premise of this book. But the execution left something to be desired. It was underwhelming in practically every way. The FMC (DEENY/HAYDEN) is as Basic as Ugg boots and Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and sadly, just as cliche. Despite the author's assurances via the MMC's (NATE ) pov that Denny is extraordinarily independent, wild and strong, (so much so that his pet name for her is "Hellion"), I was left with the impression of an insecure. attention starved, and socially awkward 20-something who's only life's purpose was to get laid by any means necessary. Not the least bit believable, much like the kitchy th
