Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy by Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko| Book Summary | Readtrepreneur
(Disclaimer: This is not the original book)
It is a common misconception among many people that the wealthy wear designer clothes, drive expensive cars, and enjoy the luxurious lifestyle.
This audiobook, The Millionaire Next Door, debunks that myth and shows us the true meaning of being a millionaire; it's not your lifestyle that defines how rich you are, but rather the wealth you have accumulated.
(Note: This summary is wholly written and published by readtrepreneur.com It is not affiliated with the original author in any way)
"If you want to be rich, stop acting like it." - Thomas J. Stanley
Through this audiobook, Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko share with us the key habits of millionaires that allowed them to build the wealth that they did, and also teaches us how to use our valuable resource of time, energy, and money efficiently.
Those that are truly wealthy may not appear so all the time. To be truly wealthy, one must be different at their core in terms of attitude.
P.S. The Millionaire Next Door will change the way you view the wealthy, and deepen your understanding towards amassing wealth yourself.

Story
There is no bigger public health story now than the collapse in youth mental health. The numbers are terrifying and dominate our headlines. There has been much debate over how we got here, and what to do next, and bestselling author and social psychologist Jonathan Haidt is at the white-hot center of that discourse. Haidt has spent his career speaking wisdom and truth into the most difficult landscapes—communities polarized by politics and religion, campuses battling culture wars, and now the perfect storm contributing to a public health emergency for Gen Z.

Story
In The Worst of You, just-wed architects Timo and Nia flee a murder scene, setting in motion a chain reaction of lies and betrayals that threaten to unravel everything they have built together. Twisted and propulsive, this thriller is told from the alternating perspectives of the couple and those close to them on Williwaw Island, each with their own motive to use the outcome of the murder case to their advantage. When a huge storm sweeps up the coast, trapping everyone on tiny Williwaw Island, it’s a race against time—and the elements — to stop the murderer from striking again.

Story
Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it's now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They'll date each other and break up. Their curses will cancel each other’s out, and they’ll both go on to find the love of their lives. It’s a bonkers idea… and it just might work.

Very practical
Indeed, it may seem like a self-serving book, but the methodology, compared with others, is quite simple and to the point of success.
Highly recommended for the ones seeking excellence and success. Quite appropriate for men who seek value in their lives.

Good not bad
Whenever I am feeling down or want to settle into thinking that I am doing enough I come back to this audio book and it whips me into shape. I hate that this books makes me feel so uncomfortable that I feel compelled to move and so dissatisfied with where I currently am that I feel like I have to move. It has helped me move forward in my thinking and makes me believe and go forward.
