About this listen

Lily Sutton has been running wild for years beneath her siblings’ noses.

Born and raised in the rookeries, she is not afraid of anything or anyone. And she is most certainly not cowed by arrogant scoundrels like the owner of London’s most prestigious shop, Bellingham and Co. She is determined to right the wrongs of her world, even if it means resorting to devious methods, such as absconding with some overpriced fripperies and baubles.

The illegitimate son of a duke, Tarquin Bellingham has worked tirelessly to build his business and to earn his rightful place in Society. But the loan he accepted from his father remains hanging over his head, and the duke is demanding Tarquin wed his choice of bride. When he catches the tempting Lily Sutton in the act of stealing from his shop, however, Tarquin finds himself unable to think of anything but her.

One mistake, and Lily is at the mercy of a man as handsome as he is forbidding. Tarquin knows he should stay far away from a devious minx like Lily Sutton, but he can’t seem to stop longing for the lovely spitfire who has enchanted him against his will. But he doesn’t dare risk everything for a lady he can never trust, and Lily isn’t about to surrender her freedom for a coldhearted businessman…

It's a battle of wits and wills between a bold East End lady and the icy shop owner she can't resist in this deliciously steamy Regency romance from USA Today bestselling author Scarlett Scott. Heat level: Scorching hot! Don't say you weren't warned.

Wonderful, Entertaining, Delightful & Romantic.

I enjoyed listening to the Story.

The Story was Absolutely Wonderful.
Tarquin Bellingham & Lily Sutton were wonderful characters.

I am excited to read Logan's Story next in this series. But I am sad because it's the last book in the Series.
I love how there are a Male & Female narrators. although they didn't enthrall me as does Timothy Campbell & Esther Wane when they narrate.

Stupid and revolting

I’m giving up on Scarlett Scott because her heroines are sluts. Ms. Scott doesn’t have a clue about intercourse. A virgin’s first time is painful and messy. Scott’s ignorant descriptions are aggravating and ruin any romantic feeling. Her heroine’s propensity to turn into a nymphomaniac at the man’s first touch shames all women. Lily is such a disappointment.
