Angie and Jenna Roseland accompany their family friend, Mr. Finch, to view a house that has just come on the market and they discover something unexpected in the basement which may be tied to a murder 25 years ago. The Roseland sisters, with the help of their fine orange feline and sweet black cat, encounter lies and deceit as they work to uncover the truth.
A cozy mystery with recipes!
The main mystery is solved in each book but you will enjoy the stories more if the books are heard in order as some story threads run from book to book.
This story has some mild paranormal elements.

One would think, if someone were coming in to narrate a story after several books have already been released in audio format, that that person might have the thought to listen to the other books before recording the one they were brought in on. But no. Clearly this girl didn't do that.
Not even five minutes into the book and Jenna shows up. Now, if you've listened to the first three books, you'd know that Jenna has a slightly deeper, slower, way of speaking than her three sisters. WELL! Not when this girl voices her. She sounds more like Courtney, which is basically the exact opposite of how Jenna sounds in the first three books.
And when she's reading the actual narration, she has no feeling. It sounds like someone is reading a speech rather than setting a story.
Honestly, I'd love to get my money back, since I won't be able to listen to this. I'm going to have to find time to actually read it, unless there is some way for me to listen to the original narrator...
NOT THE SAME NARRATOR!
