Great stories

I’m a big fan of Jeff Wheeler and the narrator Kate Rudd he uses for his books. I am never disappointed with either! I did have a hard time reading the short stories. To occasionally read them is fine but I find I want to continue on with most of them. They are just a taste and a tease to a book for me! I think it the Tales will be enjoyed by many, but my preference is for a full novel versus short stories.

Fun short stories

I really this collection of short stories. So much fun and I enjoyed hearing Jeff's notes at the end of each story. Kate Rudd is amazing as always and I forget often that all the different voices are coming from just one person!

Back stories.

Love this narrator.
Mostly good stories but not a fan of the more modern tales.
Over all very good.

Decent not great

I like a few of the short stories. This wasn't my favorite book. Perhaps it was the format. The author 's notes were good to provide greater insight.

Stories superb, Author’s commentary- not so much.

Had heard many of these stories before so somewhat disappointed. Felt like author’s comments at end were often too little or unhelpful. Not what I expected from reading all his news novels.
