Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
yes; Although I prefer Simon Prebble's voice for Miss Laurens novels, this story out weighs all. The narrator's feminine voice gives us a lighter more lyrical voice than usual, but since this story is told from a more feminine point of view than most of Miss Laurens stories it works well and makes this story stand out from her more male Cynster stories.Overall it's a delightful story!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tangled Reins?

lighter more lyricalWas this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Good story line

I’ve no idea who it was, but this is the only way I can think to describe her performance: think American woman who once saw and English soap opera 25 years ago and is using that memory to create an accent. The ‘posh’ accents and the way the different characters would pronounce words was ridiculous. The inability to stick to one single accent, even for the main character was non-existent. Even within a single sentence poor Dorothea seemed to be from at least three different countries. Multiple times it was impossible to discern which character was even speaking for the narrators inability to adapt multiple tones of voices and many times I could not even tell if it was meant to be the male or the female who was speaking.
Good story
