Publisher's summary

The last person on earth I want to be stranded with is Gianni Lupo. But thanks to the blizzard of the century, I’m trapped in a roadside motel room with that cocky bastard, for two straight days.

With one small bed.

Some women might thank Mother Nature for delivering a polar vortex that maroons them with six feet of solid muscle, those deep blue eyes, that sexy grin - but not me. I’ve known Gianni Lupo all my life, and he’s never brought me anything but bad luck, and trouble.

So when the tension between us explodes, with enough fiery heat to melt my icy defenses, I should have known what the disastrous end result would be....

A big, fat, plus sign.

After the snow melts, I’m left with more than just memories of the night we spent keeping each other warm. And he might be a rising star on the culinary scene, but he’s got no idea how to handle this bun in the oven.

He says he wants to do the right thing, but I’m not about to spend the rest of my life feeling like someone settled for me.

But, just when I think I’ve got Gianni Lupo all figured out, he gives me a taste of the man he could be, of the family we could become, of the way he could love me, if I let him.

I’m terrified of falling for him.

But one taste might be all it takes.

Blizzard Bang

Gianni and Ellie grew up together and had a lot of history. Not all of it good. Gianni offers to drive Ellie to a wine tasting dinner during a snow storm, he promised to stay out of the way. she was hoping to get a spot in a magazine spot for 30 under 30.
I loved how they wete constantly at each other's throats because of an incident that happened when they were 17. Then they got struck in a small town in a blizzard that changed their lives.
I highly recommend this book.

Beautiful Story!

This is the seventh book in the Cloverleigh Farms series, and the second book in the next generation series. This story is interconnected with the Frenched world. series Gianni and Ellie's story is sweet, funny, sexy, emotional, romantic, and heartwarming. Gianni is handsome, charming, and supportive. Ellie is lovely, smart, and determined. They are opposites attract. I liked their banter. I loved to follow them in their passionate journey to love. The supporting characters are amazing. This is a great enemies-to-lovers romance, and a great addition to the series. Ava Erickson and James Cavenaugh did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Now I need to read the Frenched series!

Enemies to Lovers

Gianni and Ellie have been friends since childhood and haven't always gotten along especially from a couple incidents when they were seventeen. Now they're working together for a few months but still not getting along. When they're stranded in a snow storm, they start to let their guard down and they find they have sparks. That leads to an unexpected surprise. I really like the way Melanie Harlow writes. There's humor and all the other feelings you could want. The narration of Ava Erickson and James Cavenaugh is wonderful.

Enemies to lovers are my jam.

Author Melanie Harlow delivers a fun, flirty, off the chart chemistry and sexy moments. Enemies to lovers are one of my favorite tropes and Taste delivers a book that brings out butterflies in my tummy, laughing out loud and swoon. If you’ve already read The Cloverleigh series and Frenched this book will make you fall in love all over again with some beloved characters. Another great book that makes me love reading romance.

Great story made better by fantastic narration

I thoroughly enjoy Melanie Harlow's style of writing. Family always plays such an important role in each if her books and Taste was no different. I loved every minute of Giani & Ellie - from their bickering foreplay to the sweet, tender moments and everything in between.

Snowed in and loving it.

I absolutely adored this story. I loved Gianni from the beginning. Ellie had to grow on me, but she relaxed more and opened her ears, and finally listened instead of assuming. Great read!

Ellie and Gianni

A sweet and sensual second enemies to lovers romance that had me swooning from beginning to end. Ellie and Gianni's road was not sunshine and rainbows. Their chemistry is palpable, their banter is fiery and when these two figured things out their journey's end was simply beautiful. I enjoyed this charming story.

Great story and great narration

I love Melanie Harlow’s style of writing, her characters have depth and are likeable and easy to relate to. There is humour, some heat and Taste was a well written and captivating read that I had a hard time putting down.

This is Gianni Lupo and Ellie Fournier’s story and what a heart warming story it was. The chemistry between them is smoking hot and the sparks certainly fly when they are near each other. Could there by more? Stranded together during a blizzard they have a passionate interlude which leaves them with a lasting surprise.

The narrators Ava Erickson and James Cavenaugh did a wonderful job with their narration. From the first chapter their voices were so easy to listen to and they did justice to the characters and the story that Ms.Harlow wove.

Ellie was initially unhappy when he became the new chef at her parents restaurant Etolie but she had no choice but to accept it. The friction that sizzles between them was entertaining.

Gianni is determined to show Ellie that they could have it all, that he’s ready to commit to a future together, but the question is can he convince her to take a chance when Ellie is convinced that he would be settling?

There were numerous laugh out loud moments that had me in stitches but it was the emotion, love, romance and family that took this book to another level.
