About this listen

Life as a teenager is never easy. But for Natalee Murray, things have just gotten way more difficult. Bored with life, she can't wait to graduate high school and get out of town, especially considering the famous band members from AD2 suddenly start attending her school, making her once-boring life absolutely insane.

It starts with a pen. A single brush of fingers and she is captivated. But Alec and Demetri have a dark secret, one that could shatter their reputations and Natalee's heart. What do you do when one guy paints your life with color while the other infuses your soul with passion? How do you choose when your heart is divided?

This is a New Adult/Mature YA. Minor swearing and drug usage.

This was a good story and got better as it progressed. The narrator did a great job changing her inflections based on the character. It was a predictable ending, but the twists with the ex girlfriend was unexpected.

good story bit predictable

This is really heartbreaking but a oddly hopeful story in the end. Narration is done well and overall it's a good listen.

Heartbreaking

The only thing that really frustrated me about the story is it was the same as the prequel only told from her perspective instead of the boys. honestly I think I liked the boys perspective better.

...it's about teenagers. I gave it 3 stars. I didn't connect with the book, though. I didn't like the love triangle thing. I had a hard time with liking any of the characters. I think this has more to do with me than the book, though. The childish nature of the book was difficult to follow.

Keeping in mind...

Tear (Seaside #1) was a great read by Rachel Van Dyken. Natalee Murray cant wait to graduate from high school and get out of town. Especially as the famous brother bandmates from AD2 started attending her school.Alec and Demetri have a dark secret that could ruin their reputations as well as Natalee's heart. I really enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

Great Read

It was just... OK. Natalee was basically an idiot. Sigh. She chose the brother who was drunk, high, kissing some other girl, and doing other thoughtless, selfish idiotic stuff but Alec was perfect? Yeah, made no bloody sense.

It was almost 2 stars for that alone.

It was just... OK.

awesome story

Tear is similar to Strung but it’s Natalie’s point of view and Strung is Alec & Demitri’s. This would have been great as one book dual narrated.
