About this listen

Teddy Dormer lives with a condition unlike any other - in order to sleep, he must not only inadvertently steal the ability for others around him to sleep, but also experience their worst nightmares, memories, and darkest secrets. This is a condition he has lived with his entire life, often with dire consequences, but he has a system that works for him.

Teddy lives on the road, perpetually moving from place to place, and never subjecting his presence on the same population for longer than a single night. However, at a small hotel in Texas, Teddy discovers - through a young woman’s dreams - that she has been kidnapped.

Driven by conscience, Teddy does what he must do to find and free her from the clutches of evil. What he cannot anticipate, however, is how this singular deed will trigger a chain of events that will not only compel him to confront an evil from his past but also lead him to an encounter with a force far beyond anything he has ever faced before - a force with the potential to change the world as it sees fit!

Teddy is a novel about the dichotomy of the human condition, for even in the face of absolute madness, good may persevere and hope will endure.

imaginative and full of surprises

For the entirety of this story I was on the edge of my seat. You think you know where the story's going to go and then all of a sudden, NOPE! I can't wait to see what else this incredible author has to offer with the rest of this series.

Extremely enjoyable Rollercoaster of a read!

This was one of the most enjoyable Rollercoaster of a book I have read in a LONG time. I found myself audibly gasping at times. If you like suspense and thriller type books this is 100% something you should check out!!

A Great Thriller That Becomes Something More

Teddy is incredibly suspensful and very interesting for thriller. I can hear inspirations sprinkled the story about but it doesn't interfere with the author's original voice. There were plenty of times where I had to stop and replay a few parts cause there was so much happening and I tried to multitask. Which is not at all a bad thing, the good stuff makes you sit down and listen in close. I had to sit down and really focus especially towards the end when things get very intense and complicated. Overall the plot is great and easily understandable. The teased lore is what interested me most which leaves plenty of room for the listeners to crave more. Can't wait for the next.

Ugh! Waste of a credit

First third of the book had potential then I felt as if I were listening to a story written by someone who had never picked up a book before. It is a work of unrestrained, incomprehensible fancy. What made this experience worse was the narration and the editing. The narrator’s cadence was off beat and the recording was poorly patched together. Very disappointing.
