This was a fun one to listen too. Not sure who the Russian sounding guy was but he made me laugh when he was doing the voice of Jubal Khan lol. Or should I say Comrade Khan hahaha.

This is the best of the short story's written for The Horus Heresy. Templar adds so much flavor and prudence to The Horus Heresy.

It was far to short of a story, wish it was longer. Then again, French is pretty shite at the writing bit for Astartes in my opinion.

Anyone that likes Dorn's angry boys will have a fantastic time with this novel. It is very action packed and battle heavy (no purging mutants on this day). The voice acting is done well with such lovely sound effects and music. It really gives some great insight into the mind of Sigismund as well.

This is a short story first and foremost. That being said, by the of this you probably have to check the title of the story to make sure you just didn't listen to a John Wick book! The story focuses on Sigismund, first captain of the imperial firsts. This has suspense, action and depth. I highly recommend this to a fan of the Horus Heresy.

There is a ton of action packed into the short running time of this story and I found it much better than what I was expecting, but it’s done like a radio drama. Unless you’re in elementary school , I don’t see the need for all the extra extraneous input like laser blasts, swords clinking together, explosions, etc. athere’s one section where the sound of stomping foot steps goes on for probably a good 5 minutes and it’s completely distracting when you’re trying to listen to and immerse yourself in the story. Aside from that, well worth the listen.

As someone who just finished the flight of the Eisenstein, this was dope as hell. I find myself becoming addicted to the war hammer books.
