About this listen

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Kristen Proby comes a new story in her Big Sky series....

Brooke’s Blooms has taken Cunningham Falls by surprise. The beautiful, innovative flower shop is trendy, with not only gorgeous flower arrangements but also fun gifts for any occasion. This store is Brooke Henderson’s deepest joy, and it means everything to her, which shows in how completely she and her little shop have been embraced by the small community of Cunningham Falls.

So, when her landlord dies, and Brody Chabot saunters through her door, announcing that the building has been sold and will soon be demolished, Brooke knows that she’s in for the fight of her life.

But she hasn’t gotten this far by sitting back and quietly doing what she’s told. Hustle is Brooke’s middle name, and she has no intention of losing this fight, no matter how tempting Brody’s smile - and body - is.

Sweet and sexy and perfect for an afternoon read/listen. Brody left town after high school without looking back and now he is back in Cunninham Falls to sell his building he inherited but Brooke's Blooms has been handed an eviction notice. Brook is not pleased and gives Brody a counter offer, spend a week with her and make one delivery a day with her before evicting her. One week is all it takes for him to change his mind about everything and life changes for both of them. This was a great addition to this series!

Loved the story line. Cunningham Falls is such a neat little town. I'm a sucker for a friends to lovers read. Narration was great as well. Can't wait for the next book in the series, but even if you're not caught up on the series this book could totally be read as a stand alone.

Loved this quick read.

A concise romance that introduces a few more characters in the Big Sky series and makes the reader wish for a visit to Cunningham Falls for the food, scenery, and hospitable people.

Very short and sweet

It was an enjoyable story
I loved Brooke and how she fights for her shop, the way she does it makes me smile.
Brody was so set in his ways until Brooke throw a wrench into his plans. I loved the way Kristen Proby weaved the tale it was exactly as I hope a book in this series would be.

Loved the narration.

This was an absolutely amazing read. I loved the second chance love story between Brody and Brooke. Brooke is a business owner that has always lived in Cunningham where Brody lived there as a kid but left when he graduated high school and never looked back, until his father died and he had to deal with his inheritance. Brooke and Brody are great together, can they make it work with them living in different state. Kristen Proby did not disappoint in this book. The narration was great and I could not stop listening

This was a fantastic novella in Kristen Proby’s Big Sky Series. Brooke runs a cute little flower shop in Cunningham Falls. She has built a business that she and her customers adore. She has a bubbly personality and everyone loves her. Brody is the owner of the building she has her shop in. He suddenly announces his plans to sell the building and Brooke is determined to change his mind. The connection and chemistry between them was off the charts. Prior to his return to Cunningham Falls Brooke and Brody were childhood friends when he abruptly ups and leaves and Brooke had no idea why. Due to his past Brody wants to cut off all his ties to the town until he finds himself falling for Brooke quickly and changes the course of his plans. Even though this was short novella I throughly enjoyed it. 4 STARS.

A sweet novella in the Big Sky Series

Why oh why must writers give us every detail of what someone wears, how hot some guy or gal is ALL the time?! Leave a little bit of something for the listener - reader to imagine!!! This story lacked a bit of depth. Too bad cause there were some cute moments and some very funny lines. I just don't need to know what a character is wearing all the time. And we really do not need to know how hot or beautiful a character thinks the other is. That makes them seem so superficial- like there's nothing to the character except for looks.

Lacking Depth

This story lacked depth. The dialogue focused on how the main characters looked. There was no connection between the hero and heroine. If the author wrote this as second chance, I didn’t feel it. There was no back story or any relationship with the main character. First encounter after ten years, all the inner dialogue was about how good the other one looked I’ve listened to short stories before and this one was the worst one I’ve listened to. I loved dual POV and they both did a good job.

Where’s the connection?
