About this listen

When Raelynd Schellden and her sister are caught in the stables with the notorious McTiernay twins, her father sees not scandal, but opportunity. The future of his clan is uncertain, and a double engagement - even under false pretenses - will lend security to his people and protect his beloved daughters from power-mad fools. But Raelynd's designated intended interests her far less than his quietly powerful brother, Crevan, a man born to lead. Though bound by honor and committed to his sworn duty, Crevan cannot resist a taste of Raelynd's crimson lips when offered - and then another and another - until the unlikely couple is entangled in both a public deception and each other's hearts.

"Like a delightful Shakespearean comedy, Sinclair's latest has humor, passion and sexual tension." ( RT Book Reviews)

Pleasantly Surprised!

Would you listen to Tempting the Highlander again? Why?

Yes. The story was great and Flosnik did a phenomenal job.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved that there were 3 possible love stories going on. I loved that Kraven stuttered!

What does Anne Flosnik bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She bring the story to life.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was moved when everyone took credit for the marriage.

Any additional comments?

It's a great read. I initially thought that it would have too much going on but it flowed well.

liked it.

this was a good book, not great, but good. the only thing missing were surprises and a little "on the edge of your seat" intrigue.

It was entertaining and amusing. Easy to listen to

Loved the characters and how they aren’t perfect, making them very relatable. Details of the two castles are good

An enjoyable listen 4 brothers down & only 3 to go

In this book we get not one but two handsome McTiernay Highland brothers - Craig and Crevan with their muscled bodies, kilts and broad tanned shoulders (mind get out of the gutter) ok I'm back.... but this is mainly Crevan's story and once I started listening to it, it hooked me in and I just couldn't stop listening.

Two sets of twins, the McTiernays and the Shelldyn girls Raeland and Merlel who have been spoilt rotten by their loving Father but they all get manipulated by one person or another into a false engagement with humorous, touching, aggravating, annoying yet entertaining and sweet results. There's a male Cousin Cyric who doesn't care which of the girls he'll marry but there's a surprise or two waiting for him.

Crevan isn't your typical Alpha hero but your heart goes out to him as he's misunderstood, insecure, has a stammer and feels he's not good enough for the girl he loves. But, with the help, guidance and interference of big brother Conor, Laurel and their children (book1) things could work out for the six main characters involved whose flawed characters all mature and bloom in this well-written, but unbelievable plot which ends in romance and two marriages..... but exactly who marries who is a mystery until the very end.

Worth a credit? Again, Ms Sinclair jumps from the story to the Epilogue and totally misses the best bit but despite that this has been another entertaining listen which was worth a credit.

The Not So Perfect McTiernay Brother - Nice!

This is a good book because everyone is not perfect. There are shortcomings that come to the for regarding Crevan and Raelynd and it makes the story interesting.
