About this listen

Legendary leadership and elite performance expert Robin Sharma introduced The 5am Club concept more than 20 years ago, based on a revolutionary morning routine that has helped his clients maximize their productivity, activate their best health and bulletproof their serenity in this age of overwhelming complexity.

Now, in this life-changing guide, handcrafted by the author over a rigorous four-year period, you will discover the early-rising habit that has helped so many accomplish epic results while upgrading their happiness, helpfulness, and feelings of aliveness.

Through an enchanting - and often amusing - story about two struggling strangers who meet an eccentric tycoon who becomes their secret mentor, The 5am Club will walk you through:

  • How great geniuses, business titans and the world’s wisest people start their mornings to produce astonishing achievements
  • A little-known formula you can use instantly to wake up early feeling inspired, focused, and flooded with a fiery drive to get the most out of each day
  • A step-by-step method to protect the quietest hours of daybreak so you have time for exercise, self-renewal, and personal growth
  • A neuroscience-based practice proven to help make it easy to rise while most people are sleeping, giving you precious time for yourself to think, express your creativity, and begin the day peacefully instead of being rushed
  • “Insider-only” tactics to defend your gifts, talents, and dreams against digital distraction and trivial diversions so you enjoy fortune, influence, and a magnificent impact on the world

Part manifesto for mastery, part playbook for genius-grade productivity and part companion for a life lived beautifully, The 5am Club is a work that will transform your life. Forever.

Not what I expected

I got this book on presale and started listening the day it was released. I had never heard of Robin Sharma before this book. I did not expect the book to be in narrative form and kept waiting for the opening illustration to end to get on with the book. It never did. At first I was disappointed, but eventually was drawn into the story.

Halfway through the book I started getting up at 5 am and just completed my sixth morning. I'm not a morning person at all and can't say I enjoy getting up early, but I am already seeing benefits. I have had some of the most productive days I've had in a very long time.

I finished this book on the morning of my birthday and an committing to stick with the 5AC. I look forward to the new year and seeing new goals and am confident that my new morning routine will help me accomplish them.

My chief complaint is the narrators voice didn't hold my attention very well and I found my mind wandering, especially when the Spellbinder was speaking.

I will get the print version of this book as well, I believe. It is full of wonderful quotes. There is significant overlap of information I have heard before, but it was all worth repeating, and also had some new insights.

What is this? A romance novel?

The book focuses too much on the fictional character's thoughts, feelings and their stories. The book could have been about half the length that it currently is if the character development wasn't so over the top. Struggled to keep my fucos through the entire book because of the over the top character development. there is good personal development advice scattered throughout the book but its few and far between.

Not done well Audible

Listening to a male voice mimicking female voice of the entrepreneur was so awkward!
This book deserved more efforts in making it an audible book. Not good experience at all and was hard to go along with it

This book helped me to wire in few tactics teached by Robin Sharma. I’m a member of 5’am Club and I run 90/90/1 rule, 60/10 method and 2WW. Book has a lot of knowledge, motivation and integrated with great story. Thank You Robin

Entertaining productivity book, but too long

From the title and what friends had told me, I knew to expect some tips on how rising up early helps productivity, but I wasn’t expecting the presentation in this book. Much more entertaining than the average self improvement book. But to be honest, too long for the content. I feel it took to long to get to the core of the message and then rushes through the many final suggestions at the end.
