Totally new perspective
This book has helped to give me some new light on how it is that I should parent my son. Before reading this book it just felt as if he was all over the place and I didn’t know what to do. This book not only gives you knowledge about ADHD, but it also puts strategies in place to help you be a better parent.

Great for parents!
This book is a great guide for parents who have a son diagnosed with ADHD. I appreciated how the guidebook includes items specific to boys and their tendencies. It's been a challenging managing behavior and relationships for us, so those sections really resonated with me. There are so many suggestions in this book, that I'm sure every parent can have at least a few nuggets to take away.

Fantasctic listen
Heard it at the hospital again.... :/ :(
Very good audiobook! Super clear, structured, and actually helpful. I allegedly have ADHD myself lol, so it helped me understand my own mind better while thinking about how to support my kids too. The C.A.R.E. framework made a ton of sense, and the focus on compassion really hit me. I seriously wish my wife would read it... might help her see things differently. Great balance of science and empathy without sounding preachy. Definitely recommend.

Wow, much needed
When you don't have a name for something, it is much harder to understand it, but understanding why so many people in my life act the way they do, because of ADHD, has helped me love them so much more.

Valuable book for parents with boys who have ADHD
The content of this guide is outstanding. As a parent with a child diagnosed with ADHD, I learned a lot from this audio book. The most I learned about was how to improve the situation at school. This had been an issue with our family, but now I have the tools to aid my child and also my child's teacher.

Super Relatable
I just finished "The ADHD Parenting Guide for Boys," and seriously, if you've got a son doing the ADHD thing, you HAVE to check this out. It's not all dry and sciency; Emily Giles breaks down the whole C.A.R.E. framework in a way that actually makes sense, and I already feel like I've got some real tools to help my kiddo thrive instead of just, ya know, survive the day. Definitely a game-changer and super relatable, like talking to a friend who gets it.
