Tobias Carlisle was on the investors podcast and I read this book, he’s quite versed in the stock market. Tobias has done a wonderful service by writing these books, I highly suggest this book and any content put out by him or the TIP Preston and Stig. Thanks for the book! I learned a lot.

Although narrator did good job on this book since I'm reading kindle book while listening using whispersync, I felt there are many places in book where I had to look at graphs and analyze figures. Its one of the best books on value investing I have read,

Better in text than audio

Great little book and worth your time if you invest in individual stocks. You can start calculating and using the Acquirer's Multiple to value stocks right away. I found the book to be useful and interesting, especially the results of the simulations they ran using this technique and comparing it against Greenblatt's "Magic Formula." Will give you a better understanding of the effects of cash and debt on valuation. If you already know all about that then you may not get as much out of it.

It’s good to go back to basics sometimes and forget about all the noise, as things are simpler than they actually look. Fun stories also make it a light content.

Important to go back to basics sometimes and good anectodes

Tobias knows his stuff. Also has a very good value investing podcast. Seems like a great strategy if the transaction costs can be controlled.

Smart author!
