About this listen

The journey across the zombie-filled country does not get easier for the renegades. The Great Plains, the heartland of America, is now home to vast herds of the undead. These savage hordes sometimes stretch as far as the eye can see. Among them live the Azael - men who have regressed back to the bloody and chaotic roots of our collective ancestors where only the strong or the blood-thirsty survive.

These far-flung tribes control the interior of the country, using great armies of zombies to inflict their will upon their neighbors. For the moment they are at peace with the soldiers of Colorado and for the moment they only see in Neil and the Renegades a way to make easy money escorting them across their lands at a steep price.

The specter of death lurks among the group. It haunts them and strikes again and again until its appetite is whetted to a point where it can no longer hide behind the innocent face of Jillybean. What skulks in the depths of her mind is driven by ferocious desires, chief of which is the hunger for death. It's a hunger that will never be satiated until each and every one of them is dead.

Awesome as anyways, just one compliant

I had to remove 1 star for story from my usual 5 stars across the board for this series.

Granted, I'm never a big fan of sudden love between 2 characters in any novel like this, but whatever is happening between Gray and Deanna is cringe-worthy. It seems extremely forced (and probably is on Deanna's part), and they either need to cut the crap or just satisfy their sexual tensions and get "it" over with already. I was very tempted to skip past the parts where Gray would "give Deanna a reluctant smile and didn't know why" (paraphrasing), or when Deanna would seemingly do anything to gain Gray's approval. Just no.

Otherwise though, great stuff!

The Undead World Series book 6

I can not put this series down it has me hooked. Peter Meredith is awesome at what he does and his characters are very different from each other. They all have such unique personalities but Jilly Bean is by far my favorite character. I love how he made her a child prodigy able to grasp concepts and ideas far out of reach of the adults she travels with. Again Basil Sands does an amazing job as narrator.

Great Storie

Peter another great Storie it was good to get a View into your thoughts of Jilly Bean I have known that she is troubled young girl it was good to hear how you dealt with the stress that she has dealt with being alone amongst all the zombies and the violence

I can't wait till the next book in the series I know you're already working on it I will be one of the first to download it as soon as it comes available thank you for the great story and the good entertainment

Damn, too good to believe.

Peter Meredith is the master if the genre. Neil, Jillibean, and the gang are at it again. The crew is yet again up to their eyebrows in the shit. Only guts and correct snap decisions can keep any of them alive.
Basil Ssnds brings the story to life and is masterful at wringing the emotion right out if you.

Great Author! Great Story!

I enjoy all of these books so far. I will say that the story is starting to become a little predictable but, I knew that going in. Any Zombie series will be 20% cannon and the other 80% is fluff and filler. Albeit GREAT filler!

Keeps getting better

I'm not sure how Meredith does it, but each book keeps getting better and better. I truly enjoyed diving into the minds of the character in this book. And the story is frighteningly believable in regard to the wants and cruelty of man
