About this listen

Every person is born a creator, but the world has conditioned us to believe that we are not. Most of us are not fulfilled because we have forgotten who we truly are and what we were created to do — create.

There is a reason that one of the most fulfilling, expansive, and healing actions we can do as humans is to create using our gifts.

The reason many of us do not create is not that we don’t know how, but simply that we are afraid and think ourselves out of it, even though we know deep down it is what we want to be doing every single day.

This book was designed not to help you learn how to create, but to help you unlearn and let go of everything that’s preventing you from freely creating art that is deeply healing, profound, and true to you.

You already have this ability within you, and it is only a matter of time until you realize it. To live a creative life full of abundance, fulfillment, and joy, you don’t need to know everything.

You don’t need to wait “until the time is right.” You don’t need to have it all figured out.

You just need to start.

Follow what feels expansive and aligned with you, and take the next step that you can see in front of you.

This creative journey into the unknown completely transmutes your life into something beautifully unrecognizable.

If this resonates with you at all, I’d truly be humbled and honored to guide you along the way to help you create art that is authentic and transformative for you and anyone who has the privilege of witnessing it.

Inspiring

A great book for anyone to read but fantastic for artists specifically. It’s a very quick listen.

Fear of the unknown

I love reminders and acknowledgments that facing the unknown and uncreated are obstacles that I create and I can overcome with confidence. I can create the space that only I am capable of making and only I can do by simply being present , make mistakes and be able to appreciate
who i am.

Vaporware

This book is so thin on ideas it’s like a vacuum. Doesn’t seem original at all. Suggestions seem very obvious to me. There’s really no narrative, just sayings. Plus, some of the ideas just seem misleading and wrong. Way too touchy feely for me and my practice.
