Publisher's summary
Every autumn, Moonbright, Maine, is the picture of charm with its piles of crisp leaves, flickering jack-o'-lanterns...and a touch of the sweetest kind of enchantment.
Witches, goblins, the occasional ghost - they're all sure to be spotted at the annual Halloween parade, where adults and children alike dress in costume to celebrate Moonbright's favorite holiday. And no place has more seasonal spirit than Bellaluna's Bakeshop, a family business steeped in traditional recipes, welcoming warmth - and, legend has it, truly spellbinding, heart-melting treats...
Between good-natured Halloween tricks, frothy pumpkin lattes, and some very special baked goods, for three Moonbright residents looking for love - whether they know it or not - the spookiest thing will be how magical romance can suddenly be...
Contains mature themes.

If I were ever to write a memoir, it would be titled, Jenna Peterson’s Guide to Dating Emotionally Unavailable Men. I’m like a professional at it. I’m so good, I can take any dysfunctional man and turn him into Prince Charming, just in time for him to dump me and then go on to marry the next woman he dates. I’m about ready to give up on loving real men and focus on lusting over fictional men in the Turkish dramas I can’t stop devouring.

Every person has that one thing they’re known for, and it doesn’t matter what you do, that one thing—whether good or bad—follows you around like a bloodhound for the rest of your life. Tragically for me, it’s a story I wrote when I was 15, based on a real person, Reece Cavanaugh. And guess what? He grew up to be a pirate—okay, lawyer. Same thing. To make matters worse, the man is representing my ex-fiancé. But the more I get to know Reece—the real version, not the imaginary one who ravishes me—I can’t help but wish we could roll around in the sand together.

Cute but predictable
This book was exactly what you'd expect. You can predict what's going to happen long before it does. Still, that's why we choose these lighter stories, right? They give you an escape, a feel-good moment. The story is cute, and I love books set around baking and cooking, small town atmosphere, etc. Unfortunately for me the narrator just ruined it. She sounds like every sing-song-y monorail driver or attraction narrator at a Disney park. It really distracted me.

Cute Light Story but Weird Narration
It’s three very light stories that have elements of fall but not enough for my taste. Another review was right saying it’s a good background story to listen to. Easy to follow. But the narrator had such an odd cadence and delivery that it really hurt the story.

narrator can use some more practice
the narrator is monotone and uninteresting. very little differentiation between characters so the story can be harder to follow

Cute stories - bad narration
The stories were cute but the narrator kept throwing me off. Her inflections were off and she ran sentences together. It really disrupted the stories.
