A missing woman and a graveyard of bones.
Can Thomas Shepherd stop a deranged madman?
On the night Karley leaves town to meet with her friends, she disappears. Her husband swears they have the perfect marriage, but Sheriff Thomas Shepherd isn't convinced. And the husband doesn't have an alibi for the night Karley vanished.
Thomas joins forces with his girlfriend, private investigator Chelsey Byrd. But as they search for Karley, the case takes a dark turn. Someone is dumping bodies into a forest pond outside Wolf Lake. Is the murderer behind Karley's disappearance?
Thomas and Chelsey race to stop an unhinged killer. Nobody in Wolf Lake is safe until they solve the investigation. But they aren't alone in the night.
The killer is watching their every move.

The Bone Forest is the 10th book in the Wolf Lake series. The books can each be listened to as a standalone however I would suggest listening to the series in order. There are developing relationships that are more easily followed if you start with book one. If you choose to begin with this book I believe the author fills in enough history so you would not feel lost.
This book’s mystery is about a serial rapist/murderer who is part of the Wolf Lake community. He blends in and is actually helpful and concerned about his fellow employees. This book is very entertaining and moves along at a good pace.
Daniela Acitelli does a very good job narrating. I do turn the listening speed up to 1.1 for a more normal talking speed for me.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
