Great for 40k enthusiasts

its a fun listen! Just got lost at points or characters sounded so similar I couldn't tell who was talking or what was happening.

I’m so happy I found this bundle instead of just getting Throne of Lies.

I WISH I could review just the one short story but I can’t so I need to do what I can here to get this message out. Throne of Lies is NOTHING compared to the Night Lords trilogy when it comes to the performance. It was genuinely the worst performance out of everything I’ve listened to at this point and I don’t dislike ANY of the performances lol. If you are looking for that specific short story, just spend the money on this bundle so you can have the story and then move onto the fabulous performances and stories that is everything else in this compilation. The only reason my review is not 5 stars all around is because it’s eating me alive that Throne of Lies, even with extra sounds and voice actors/narrators, doesn’t hold up even a little to not only the trilogy but in GENERAL.

Chaos is the only true answer

Loved most of it, the one with Kharn was awesome. The narrators did a good job and the sound effects helped with the immersion.

Great Stuff!

I love the battles and carnage of the Warhammer 40k world. Looking forward to the next set of short stories.

The voice acting is top tier

A collection of short stories with great voice acting and soundscapes really helps with being immersed in each story

Excellent stories, but DO NOT PURCHASE!

These are a wonderful set of stories (The Night Lords & Kharn stories in particular I am a huge fan of), and I enjoyed the audio drama performances quite a bit. If you're a chaos fan, it is for sure worth a listen!

That being said, this collection is outdated. The Black Library audio collection called "The Traitor and the Alien", released in November of 2021, contains all of these stories and then some (It has a plague marine choking a Tau on the cover). If you are buying with credits, IGNORE THIS BOOK! Go search for that one instead, it's has 3x the content for the same value!
