I've been taking care of my little sister for a long time. When Mom was gone, she suddenly became my responsibility. The best years of my life were spent being a caretaker to someone else...with no one to take care of me.

Now we're in a labor camp in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by endless snow and mountains, processing drugs for a group of men who never show their faces. There's no chance of escape in this wilderness.

I have read most of Ms. Sky's books and this one has to be the best. I love the Buttons & Lace series and the Lingerie series but this one was different and well written. I couldn't stop reading/ listening to it!

We all know that this type of story still takes place in our world. Just because we don't see it it occurs and Noone is immune, women,men and children are trafficked around the world to serve others.
Penelope writes this story and not only shows the cruelties from being captured but all the strength and determination it takes to try and escape it. Even though this is fiction it plants something in our minds that just maybe it is worth a fight to stand for what you believe in.
Also you know she is a dark romance author, so there is always some hot enchanting man or men involved. I read these books when they were 1st printed because since 2016 I have been hooked on this authors amazing tales and all these years later I listen and re read them when I need that dark adventure.

I waited a long while to listen to this series by Penelope Sky...just like all of her other series like Button and Lace...it was very dark and made me so angry at men...I simply love Raven and how she turn into this strong, kick ass woman and fought back....still not sure if I want to head into ‘The Camp’

Gotta warn you there is a book 2🤷‍♀️I usually wait till all books are out, but I just can’t resist Penelope .
Hats off to Ramona Masters for an excellent performance, I wasn’t kidding when I said heart pounding. This is fast paced and multi characters, so it could not have been easy for her to keep the pace and intrigue from word 1 and never falter!!
Truly incredible you will not be disappointed !!

I really loved the way this book unfolded. it was suspenseful and really riveting I can't wait for the next installment to come out. I have been a fan of Penelope Sky for a while but this book may be her best
