Publisher's summary

Some things are meant to be.

Roam begins her senior year, in a world she considers ordinary. When she meets her new history teacher, West, she learns her fate is not as simple as she once believed, and the memories begin to take over her life.

Roam and West have spent centuries - as far back as the 1400s, to as recently as the 1970s - struggling to survive a prophecy that has forsaken them both, and unraveling a tale of love that has lasted throughout lifetimes.

Evil is near, and in their last life together, West must try to protect Roam once more - and the unborn child that will save the world....

Really good story!!!

This compilation of books had the highest highs and the lowest lows for this family of wonderful characters! Roam and West, Violet and Logan, Eva and Will …. All of their lives and times made for an excellent story that I had to finish! I struggled with some of the lowest times in the books, but that’s the same with any book for me. The overall story…. The prophecy… comes to light in smaller snipers over the entire series, and it’s so worth the listen.

Roam's Story

Warning- There a major triggers for violence and sexual assault.
Complete series is 54 hours, and there may be hours where you just don’t want to put the book down.

The King (Tyler), his brother (Logan), and soldier (West) lives are intertwined with the Queen (Roam). Jealousy, spurned love causes West’s father puts a spell on them, thus creating a prophesy. This results in the story unfolding over centuries, with time travel between centuries and parallel worlds. There are extensive plot twists and turns. It is a very complex story, which must be read in order to make sense. The story line starts with Roam, Tyler, Logan, and West, and grows to include additional characters as the story progresses. At time Roam is whiny, acts helpless and defeated. Overall, she is an intelligent, strong person with spirit. Logan is her childhood best friend. However, you do not always know people as well as you think. Tyler is evil, sadistic, and vile. West is a deeply complex man, with good and bad points to his character.

I found some minor grammatical errors, such as confusing pronouns midsentence.
Narration was good overall. The voices were not always spot on but did well enough it did not distract from the story.

I was blown away!!! Loved it!

🚨TRIGGER WARNINGS for S/A and Graphic Violence🚨

Holy craziness I was not ready for this story! Let me start by saying that this is absolutely NOT my normal reading material! I would not have sought out a book like this to read (or listen to), but it fell into my lap so I gave it a shot. BOY AM I GLAD THAT I DID!!! Now if I were to try to give you an synopsis of these books I would just confuse the heck out of you, so I wont even try.

The story had a Camelot type feel to it with extras attached. There is time travel through portals to past lives. Troy and West are both immortal and don't die. Roam and Logan are immortal SOULS and keep dying but are born again. There is an epic battle that includes magic and mythical creatures. There is a lot of violence because part of this story mimics medieval times with swords and castles with dungeons.

Now Troy is really the villain of this story, but personally I couldn't stand Logan. Even though he was always there for Roam and did all he could to protect her, and was her friend..... it always felt like he was bitter about not being her love interest. And I even felt that bitterness when he was getting together with is HEA person. And while Troy was the bad that that was constantly after Roam, and then ends up keeping her against her will and doing bad things to her..... in the very last book you get some of his POV and it really had be feeling kind of bad for him, because all I could think was that it all started because he was in love with her and she broke his heart!

The narration was good. One of the male narrators kind of annoyed me with his female voice, but it wasn't enough to turn me off the books. The audio was 54 hours and 30 minutes. So it was a very real commitment, but totally worth it! I am so glad that I listened to this story. It left me feeling so wonderful when it was all said and done. Definitely glad that I took the chance!

fantastic deal includes 7 books!

This review will include all books in addition to a mini review for each book.
Overall this was an epic storyline spanning the many lifetimes of West and Roam, with Logan and Troy playing large roles in their fated romance.

I felt there was a little too much repetitive narrative with Roam, West & Logan but I did appreciate that the author was creating the background and frame of mind Roam was in.
Kimberly created a fantastical tale of parallel worlds, fated mates and time paradoxes! I couldn't stop listening even to this box set.
Over 54 hours of listening and I wanted more!
Roam, book 1, sets the stage for what's to come, and features Logan and Roam as the initial main couple. It quickly involves West, the new mysterious history teacher that Roam is inexplicably drawn to.

Fall, book 2, sees Roam, Logan and West in a love triangle and going back in time. It ends with a twist.

Rise, book 3, has Logan and Roam stuck back in in Troy's world, Iceland. West is gone , and Roam faces her worst nightmare.

Rush, book 4, sees Logan get his HEA with another. Each book gives you more details about the prophesy and hints at what's to come for Roam and West's family.

Rule, book 5, is about Eva and Will (Roam's daughter & Troy's son).
This book was my favorite, or maybe tied for favorite! Will and Eva are perfect together and there's so much going on in this book that I flew through this one so fast ! Eva is a kick ass heroine and takes no prisoners. Love her and her attitude!

Reign, book 6, and I'm going to be honest, I felt for Troy. This whole storyline with time paradoxes and fated mates will mess with your head! I know Roam and West belong together, but I couldn't help but feel sympathy for Troy, even if he's twisted and demented!

West, book 7, is a quick 2 hour novella!

Time travel, magic, and eternal love

I thought I'd be getting a series of short stories or novellas. I was wrong! There is one novella, but the rest are full-length novels. So be prepared to lose yourself for days listening to this well-written series.

There are highs and lows — all the feels you can imagine, in addition to plenty of world building, plot twists, action, drama, and character development.

The later books revisit earlier events, so could work as standalone, although I will say reading this series in order would be best. Seeing previous events again could be repetitive, but the author keeps things fresh and interesting with new points of view.

Each book adds more background to the overall story carried through the series, and depth to the characters.

Roam, Fall, and Rise are Roam and West's trilogy. Their love is tested in every way it can be as they fight and sacrifice in the past and future. Kelli Tager narrated the stories beautifully, accompanied by the talented Gregory Salinas in Rise.

Rush is Logan and Violet's story. I enjoyed seeing Logan's character evolve and get his side of things. Seeing West through Violet's eyes was interesting, too. Kelli Tager and Michael Newman Johnson offer great performances as they narrate the story.

Rule is about Eva and Will. She is Roam and West's daughter, choosing between the destiny she's always been aware of, or trying to be herself. Will was a good match for the headstrong heroine. Kelli Tager returns with another strong performance.

Reign takes us back to the very beginning of it all for everyone. Kelli Tager, Michael Newman Johnson, Gregory Salinas, and Johnathan Waters all combine their talents to bring the story to life.

West is a novella that gives us more background and a deeper POV into his perspective. In the first three books, we see Roam mature and really learn her strength, so this is a nice addition to balance out more of what West goes through. Gregory Salinas does another great job.

Over fifty hours of story seems daunting, but this series is well worth the listen.

Immortals & Saviors

This was my first experience with Kimberly Adams' work, and it was an emotional thrill ride. This omnibus contained all six books of "The Roam Series". I liked that the author told the same basic story, but from the different major characters' viewpoints, and still each story was different enough to have kept my interest throughout. Please note that there were some steamy descriptions, and also some violence. Kelli Tager's, Gregory Salinas', Jonathan Waters', and Michael Norman Johnson's narrations were fine. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Couldn’t stop

I was hooked from the very first book, Roam through to Reign, the intertwining stories were fascinating and sometimes a little confusing & entangled but smoothed out the more I listened, West & Roam were always destined for each other, despite all the harrowing and torturist things they had to deal with along the way.
The novella, West, at the very end, left me wondering, Why?!? There was no purpose to it, it just little snippets from the main books.

Captivating!

To read the Roam Series requires that your mind take a flight of fantasy into a world of a prophecy to be fulfilled across time by West and Roam. West is an immortal who has been waiting for centuries to find the reincarnation of his wife, now calling herself Roam, and produce a child who will save the world. Flashbacks to his previous lives give us an insight into the former incarnations of Roam and he knows that this time he's found "the one." As they travel through time, they are aware of those who are trying to destroy them. Roam's best friend, Logan, considers her much more than a friend and there's a constant inner war between him and West, fighting for her affections. It soon becomes apparent that Logan isn't at all what he appears to be and that adds a touch of the dark side. This is a 7 book set and I loved the first six books. The seventh was a quick wrap-up of West's immortal life, from the beginning up to now, but it moved too quickly, was too disjointed, trying to follow him through all of his wives and families. I am glad that the author tried to tie together all loose ends, but it felt as if there were something missing. I was left with a sense of sadness as I turned the last page. Kelli Tager, Gregory Salinas, Jonathan Waters and Michael Normal Johnson did a tremendous job with the narration. Their dynamic, well-modulated voices were able to seamlessly weave the characters together, producing a remarkable story.
