Publisher's summary

Somewhere between the fact and fiction Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's greatest creation stole the soul of Jeremy Brett, the actor who would become the embodiment of the Baker Street sleuth. The Curse of Sherlock Holmes follows Jeremy as he fights for his sanity and his life. This is the full script of the play by Dhanil Ali.

The Stage is set

After hearing this two act play, I wish I was watching it on stage. The developing story was tying lots of knots in my brain as it responds to ways known and unknown.

An interesting take

As Jeremy Brett is my favorite Holmes, this performance intrigued me. Certainly not the norm for my entertainment but worth the time.

Curse Indeed!

A very interesting performance that both Rathbone and Brett would understand. Very enjoyable and curious production!

They Might Be Giants, Redux

I’m not entirely sure what I just listened to, but I LOVED it. It began straight away with scenes that put me in mind of the early ‘70s They Might Be Giants, but with some delightful twists.

Is our protagonist Holmes or Brett? Is it now, or Victorian London? Did he really meet with Moriarty? So many questions, and so few answers! Bravo!

As to the cast, what a delight! All three were outstanding, and truly a joy to listen to. If there are more by this combination of author and performers, I am THERE!

And you should be, too!

Exclamation points are neat! ;-)
